Hey AC - in Arizona if you get married to your sister and then later get divorced, are you still considered relatives?

Grab your socks,,,,,,with the hurricane hitting New Orleans and closing down the Gulf ship ports and fuel refineries, gas prices are going to go up again. I hear that New Orleans accounts for 20% of the gas refined in the U.S. May takes weeks for everything to be back online.

You are right AC.

I came in at 5:00 am this morning expecting fireworks and got them.

Major refiners sending allocation notices as Gulf Coast rigs evactuated and refineries closed. 3 to 4 days disruption in supply & distribution. Gas transport trucks ordered off the road in all or parts of 4 states (mostly aluminum, like kytes). Many suppliers suspending trading.

Price increases and spot outages for sure.

Randy - thanks for the update. Heard a barrel of oil went to $70.80 last night,,,,,knew something was coming down.
I'm thinking it will stop before reaching $3 gallon,,,,,nobody will rob the gas station for cash,,,just a full tank of gas, lol.

One of the 2 majors pipelines from the gulf that serves much of the east coast has been shutdown.

Once the storm passes, the flooding resends and they inspect and find there is no damage, it will reopen. Biggest fear is with damage from flooding. The flooding in Houston a couple of years ago damaged a line and it took days once EPA got involved. It had to be drained, repaired and tested before reopening.

This could take some time. Unfortunately, you can't just flip a switch.

Wholesale gas prices usually change at 6:00 pm for most unbranded suppliers and BPAmoco and at midnight for most majors, but today they went up at noon.

Average increase was a whopping 15 cents on average!

Fill up quick!

Can you imagine what the European prices must jump to.....incredible!
I never thought we'd be paying a dollar a litre....at least not yet,but we are!It seems like almost overnight the cost of driving has skyrocketed out of control!

Ok,
I just seen a gas station a few minutes ago on my way home that had premium at $2.99

$3.00 in Dallas should happen either later today or tomorrow.

Fill up quick!

My wholesale prices have increased 23 to 74 cents (depending on supplier) over the past 2 days.

We are on allocation with all major suppliers and unbranded suppliers are using price as an allocator.

Spot terminal outages.

Neighbors have too much money and gasoline?

NEW - Alley Cat Siphon Pump Kit - $16.95 + ship

No mouth breathers needed,,,just insert the long tube into the neighbors tank, and begin siphon of their fuel. You only provide a gas can to fill,,,,,and a smile knowing this fill-up will cost you so little. Will pay for itself very quickly! Limited to supply on hand,,,order soon.

The AC Siphon Pump Kit comes in red only,,,,,no chrome to flake either. These are hand held, high volume pumpers,,,,,,you don't want to be over at the neighbors any longer than you have to be.

I'll try and get a picture posted later.
