Norm - these fine siphon pumps are made by Monahan Midnite Industries in Cincy,,,,,,,so they only come in "Her" models. Ed would never build anything he would have to use,,,when Sandy is available to do it for him, lol. Yes,,,comes with instructions, and a six year old could operate this product.

Fuel prices are going to slow the economy down, most products are shipped via truck. Higher fuel costs will drive the products higher plus people are now paying double for the fuel to take them to buy the higher priced products, your money isn't going to go as far so less products will be sold.Call your representitives in Washington and plead for more tax relief. If you really could add up all the taxes that are paid multiple times for every product as it moves from begining to end (raw materials to final consumer), people would be shocked at how cheap products would be without taxes (and how much money they would have left over for helping the needy and less fortunate, put kids through college, pay heath insurance, keep a parent home to raise their own kids instead of a stranger, etc..) Taxes are a cancer slowly eating away at the prosperity of All Americans. I don't want anyones money but my own!! OK now I feel better, until Sept. 15 when my next Quarterly tax payment is due. For those out there that are not employers, when you look at your tax deductons on your pay stub thank your employer because he/she is paying some matching amount of taxes for you, just think how small your paycheck would be! Ok, OK, Breath, count to ten..........Ah Better now.

The price was to go up 30 cents a gallon today (said the radio). I was on my way to work and wanted to fill up, but my PT Cruiser was almost full so I drove around for a few hours until I could take advantage of the cheaper price. It did go up just after noon (30 cents) so I saved a good bit! Aren't we lucky the Prowler has such a small tank!

I just got back from a meeting with our ExxonMobil Regional VP. I was able to listen in on a corporate conference call. These are the highlights, no lowlights..:They raised prices 15 cents at 1:00 (They were 20 cents below competitors believe it or not). Both pipelines that supply the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic states are shutdown. They will be down 5 to 15 days. Exxon's refinery in Baton Rouge, LA is running a half capacity and is one of only 2 operating at all in LA. Spur terminals (those not directly on the pipeline) are dry now. There is 4 to 5 days of product in the remaining terminals and 1 to 3 days supply at station tanks. They are re-directing barge shipments of finished product (gas) to small water terminals in Savannah, GA and Wilmington, NC. There WILL be outages in the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic states next week. How long the outages are unpredictable.

Invest in locking gas caps. Gas in your tank is like money in the bank with the doors unlocked overnight. Gas stations around here will only allow you to purchase a maximum of $50.00 at a time. My Yukon XL Denali has not been on full for a long time. All of my cars are locked in the garage at night. That giant sucking sound is no longer jobs going to Mexico it the oil companies sucking the money from your wallet. Charlie

I take it this means that you had tested these yourself since you are so sure that "a six year old could operate this product"? LOL This message has been edited by Bcoffman Gray Ghost on 08-31-2005 at 04:18 PM

I just called up to our buddy Meancat's store in Moddersville...$3.40 up there. He said he had a hard time finding a distributor that even had gas to fill his tanks at the store. This is getting crazy.

halicat - your Canadian gas is too cheap!!! It should be much higher than U.S. gas prices, lol. Coffeeman G/Ghost - it said a six year old could operate the siphon pump in the illustrated directions,,,,,,,,but I forgot about your Missouri azz being illiterate, so I'll have to restate the age requirements [in Missouri]
Phx/Chandler gas stations went to $2.99 gal this morning,,,,,,,,while 'trendy Scottsdale' was reporting $3.09 to $3.49 gallon
I've said it before: Its the end of the world,,,I tell ya,,,,,the end of the world!!

AC....I think that is EXACTLY what I looked like this afternoon when I fueled the Kat....I had to check to see if I had enough ca$h on me before I filled it up...when Gas was $.35 cents a gallon, my hourly wage was $1.35 per hour.... ...today, gas is approx 10 times higher but my hourly rate is much higher....gas is still cheaper for me today than it was in 1969 ....
