Good luck it took me ~ 1hour to get them off, there are some better instructions on the provided web sites. The trick is to get a real long screwdriver, and work it up into the clips that hold the bottom bar on the back seat. You will be suprized at the amount fo space back there. |

Thank you cstall !!! Storm.... once I got the info, took about 5 minutes.... You have an extended cab or supercab, based on reading the sites from cstall, there is certainly a difference in getting the seat back off. Thanks again. |

Forgot about that, I have a Crew Cab, thats why I had all the trouble. What do you have option wise, I went a little crazy when I bought this truck but so far not a single problem. |

Storm, 2000 F-150 Extended Cab basically everything but leather right now has 53K miles, two problems so far. First was having to have the transmission replaced at 1K miles due to a "clunking" noise in first gear. Since it was one of the first 2000's built, detroit wanted the tranny back.... My wife says they wanted to get the diamonds out of it !!! The other was the recent recall for the cruise control speed sensor.. Other than that Fantastic truck !!! It replaced an Infinity I30 and is more comfortable Now the gas mileage is another story ...... |
