TUIB,I cruised Brice Road Friday and Saturday nights looking for the "Serpent" but I couldn't find you. I left Saturday night just before the lightning and rain came in. Great fun to see all of the old Mopars running around. See you at Woodward. Kevin

Thanks TUIB!!! This "Sox and Martin" Cuda was under the carport at the Hampton Inn in Carlisle. It was on an old style flatbed of course. This restoration is truly a work of art. The person that restored this car did a GREAT job!!! I mean even the headlights were tinted with a deep shade of Blue. How cool is that!!! If I remember correctly...it even had an original 1974 NHRA sticker on the drivers side rear window.

My Dad ran against Ronnie Sox and later joined his team for a year before Ronnie and some others ran afoul of the law. Team had to disband and Ronnie served 18 months in Alabama. Ronnie's Dad had an Exxon full service station with 2 bays in Burlington, NC that my dad worked at some as a second job. The restored car you show is featured in a local sign shop TV ad. They did the lettering. Ronnie died about 5 months ago. He was the king of Pro Stock in the early 60s.
