If you read this, please check in. This is the peak of the cruise season. Woodward and Back to the Brick are next week as is Reno. The NSRA Nationals are going on currently.

So again, where are the Prowler owners? Please stop in and say hello to your friends.

Hello to all our Prowler Family. Hope everyone is well. We just got back from an Alaskan cruise followed by a family reunion in Anacortes Washington. We had an absolute blast. However I got sick on the last day of vacation and have been fighting whatever this is I picked up for over two weeks now. Hope all that attend Woodward have an absolute blast. Please post some pictures. Linda and I definitely are going to cruise at least part of Old Route 66 next year. We have been talking about this for a while now. We hope some of the Prowler Nation can join us even if only part of the way. We have not set a date yet but I can say as always it won't be in June due to it conflicting with my Boss's annual fishing trip vacation. Maybe May.

Hello to all Prowler Owners out there in cyberspace!! This is Lou, aka quincy.....Moved to Tennessee last August from the Detroit area. Had some issues getting the new house finished + moving in followed by some health issues (broke rt. ankle in three places and then my two front teeth became abscessed and had to be removed..+ a permanent bridge installed....$17K in medical expenses rang up.) Then, our basement /crawl flooded twice in July. Builder never installed drain tile..go figure. Now we have been digging drainage trenches by hand and building french drains from the crawl thru the foundation to the outside....what fun! My idea of retirement. So, still getting settled in and will not be doing Woodward this year. Not out of the game, just trying to catch my breath. Still kicking!!

Boy, that don't sound like retirement just a career change.
Hang in there, things usually work out somehow.

REBELBOB, Isn't your car supercharged? If it is and has the headers, make sure that you insulate the ECM from the heat of the header tube. One tube is less than one half inch away from the ECM. You can see the clearance from underneath with the car on a lift. I made an aluminum heat shield with a reflective patch to lower the temperature of the ECM.

I envy all of you that are able to make extended trips with your Prowler. I will be celebrating my 85th in October, so you can imagine how difficult it is for me to take extended trips. The BlakTie gets out about once a week; however, I must face reality and consider selling it soon. If anyone knows of someone looking for a nice Black Tie with matching trailer and scads of extras let me know. Give our regards to those in attendance at your gatherings.

just now started to get the prowler out, went to 1 carshow at the lake of the Ozarks in Mo on the first of May but we have had a lot of rain here in Kansas seems like every weekend for about 3 months finally starting to dry out, then I had to have back surgery and it has been 6 weeks since surgery so I have not been able to get the prowler out til just last week to start driving , went to 1 car show last sat morning and cruise night sat night this might be the first year for not having a lot of prowler time , we usually go to the NHN at Larry Bells but that stopped last year so we will not have any prowler trips this year , hopefully next year

I was promoted 6 months ago to police chief and have been extremely busy since. I did get to go see Jim Sutton and get my transporter from him. My wife and I had a great trip. Jim and his wife are wonderful people and made us feel like family. We are planning to go to crusin the coast on the Mississippi gulf Coast in October and we hope to see other prowler owners there.

Hello Bob. I sold the Prowler in June being short on space and owning a few other "old" cars. But it was 17 years of fun for Bev and I and one lot of miles on the back roads.

Best, Roger

Woodward 79 in So Cal reporting -
The wife and I took 'er out yesterday for the 1 hour drive from the safety of the garage to the Long Beach marina for breakfast at Schooner or Later - one of our favorite spots.
They have patio seating adjacent to the water of the marina - a great place for breakfast.
It's not easy finding really good Bloody Mary's but Schooner or Later has 'em!
The car ran well and I'm really liking the new Falken tires.
Looking forward to getting together with Ken and the rest of the So Cal Prowlers group soon.
My wife is really liking the passenger seat risers I recently installed.
Oh, I am also looking forward to hearing from the California DMV on the status of my personalized plates. Stay tuned for further details...

My Prowler is running and we did take it to Carlisle for the All Chrysler Nationals. I don't use the car as much as I once did. I am using my older Plymouths a lot more now instead of the Prowler along with the 2012 Challenger.

Roger, say it isn't so. We recently were talking about the pie ala mode at the Midway Café (?) on the Rt. 66 trip and the leather "bad ass" vest. Lots of great memories. I am glad to see you are still checking in. Thanks for being Alley Cat's Parole Officer for all these years. I know that took a lot of work to keep him from going back into the joint. lol

My car is sitting in the garage while we are waiting on Sues new car, the it will be back on the lift.

Hasn't gotten driven much lately

Have a new purchase for it coming soon.

My work schedule, the cars will not get much use.

Hoping to make it to the Garlits show in November with the Dart

I'm still here too. Haven't done much with my Prowler since last August (Car Show) but am planning on another Local show in October. Pretty much done everything I ever wanted to my Prowler but still love it after 13 years. I've had a few other Prowlers over the years but I always come back to my first, my Red '99.
My current "toy" is my new (to me) '05 Viper Truck and find it fun to work on and modify although I cant thrash as much or as long as I used to. At 68, I'm thankful for the things I can still do though. Kudos also to JeraneW who obviously Still Gets It at 85!
I also must confess that I dont post much here anymore as there is always somebody who either knew it first, bought it cheaper somewhere else or has no respect for other's opinions.
It still is nice to be able to keep up with you other Old Timers (lol) here on the POA. Made a lot of good friends here over the years!
