We have enjoyed the company of the Armadillo for several months and are happy to see it on the way to Peoria with Gene and Dixie Snyder. They certainly will take very good care! Since they are renowned travelers the armadillo will most certainly expand his global adventures. I will be anxious to see pictures as the saga continues. Dixie was thrilled to get the armadillo on her birthday in Pigeon Forge, TN.

You can see in the picture that Dixie blew the doors off the car behind her...and laughing about it. Gene says "just another day!"

I am going to leave him in Europe. There is going to be folks from several diff. countries. He needs to see this part of the world and then come home to the USA in the future. |

It made it to Italy today. We didn't see Messina so we had to settle for Loggins, only.
I got caught by a r.r. worker and I didn't get to take a second picture with him on the railcar by the logs. |

I was having a hard time deciding to whom to give Austin. I decided to have them draw a number between 1 and 20. Sascha went first and picked 6, the correct number. I had written it down, under the table so no one would be able to see what I wrote. Several folks said it went to the correct guy. I couldn't believe the first guess nailed it. |

Now how is he going to immigrate to the US? Boat to Ellis Island? His father will be at the 20th anniversary event and I'm sure that he misses him. Thanks for all of the pictures. We should record his travels and include photos and hosts. Where in the world is Austin and where has he been? The POA club mascot is an armadillo. |

It almost went to Norway. I was leaning toward giving it to Glenn but also wanted to give it to Ollie, Sascha, etc. so I did the pick a number routine. I am sure it will get around quite a bit. Sascha comes to America quite a bit. |
