Thanks Alley Cat, we had Arnie on 6 trips in the Motorhome a total of 9500 miles, and could only remember to get him out one time for pictures (the Ski trip)!!!!!! Arnie needs to go to someone younger who does not have all of our Senior Moments!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I hope we find his new owners at Shipshewana, Indiana. Ed can preform the passing of Arnie Ceremony at the Prowler gathering. Gene & Dixie |

Gene, I might take it and take it to Switzerland next year. Those guys can take it around to several other countries and then send it back before the E U goes out of business totally. lol |

quote: IT'S AUSTIN!!! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . This is so funny. I was literally thinking about him last week. I was wondering were in the world he was, if he was okay, the lineage of who had him, where Austin has traveled and how many speeding tickets he has witnessed. I know I have been away for quite a while; so I apologize if I have missed any other posts. You just made my day Ed. Thank you!!! I feel like a proud PaPa!!! We had him neutered and spayed or whatever they call it so there wouldn't be any grandchildren showing up at your door. Good to see you posting Bill. Everytime I see the U S Open Tennis mentioned, I think of you. Thanks again for all your help. |

The traveling Prowler Armadillo...MISSING IN ACTION!
As we make friends along the way on these trips, so does the armadillo: ^> Larry Lord ^> Lord's pet turtle ^> ^ > The hand-off to AC
. ^> Rick Beyes, with his father Mel Beyes(RIP)...both attended many Prowler events over the years -------------------------------------------------------------
^ > Mike Gatlin, while in AZ, tried to run over Austin, but I dove in to save him just in time While with me,,,Austin traveled 1300 miles to Deadwood, S.D. |

"Ok" now we know his proper name "Austin" not "Arnie", thanks Wildbill!!! Ed taking Austin to Switzerland next year sounds great, give him some International exposure!!!!!! Wildbill, Alley Cat or Ed do any of you guys know the history of Austin the Armadillo? Dixie & I know he has been around for quite a few years, but do not know where he came from originally. I always thought that was AC's first name...hum...I wonder if there might be a connection there. You certainly wouldn't name an armadillo "Larry". |

Thanks Bob, for the Info on "Austin"!! What year was the Texas event, 2004 or 2005? I am trying to get an age on the "Little Texas Armadillo". He sure was a "Hit" at the Ski Slopes when we had him out taking his pictures, everyone wanted their picture taken with Austin. It sounds like he has already been all over the US. Wildbill started a "Little Armadillo Rock Star"!!! Gene |
