Hello, everyone. I am in the process of fabricating mini front fenders out of aluminum. I may decide to sell my two front fenders with mounting brackets in the near future and replace them with the mini fenders. My question to all is, what would be a fair price to ask for my stock fenders with mounting brackets? They are Inca gold in color and in very good condition. I realize that most buyers would have to have them repainted to match their car. It's my understanding that it is almost impossible to get the mounting brackets anymore. Is this true? I checked the Prowler store online and found that they offer fenders with mounting brackets for $1750.00 each and they are in primer. With that in mind, what do you, the members feel is a fair price to ask? Thanks for any thoughts on the matter.

They would have to be worth about $ 2200 if the Prowler store is only getting $ 1750. They are usually very low priced. lol
I have 6 or 8 (maybe 10) extra brackets but they are not for sale, at this point.
If you want to sell them, post an ad and say that you will consider offers for the next 3 days. If the offers are not good enough, then don't sell. If someone is in dire need of a fender they might be willing to pay too much for one, but probably not both. Simply split them up.
Anyone can guess at the correct price, but that has little to do with reality.

Why don't you simply sell them for a price that you would be happy to accept.
Personally I never deal with anyone who says open to offers. Even if I am desperate for that part I will always walk away.
The seller is obviously waiting for the best price and I understand that. But I don't deal that way and the seller has always a price in mind.
If you don't have a price, I don't offer and you can keep it/ them.
Just thought I'd offer an opinion!
But, I know your looking for an average price.
So, with that in mind, I've no idea.

Consider keeping them in storage in case you sell and/or want to return your Kat to stock....

Golf Keep your fenders. At least wait for someone who needs a fender and you can offer to sell it then. It's a win/win for you. Would hate to see you sell and then regret it.

A set just sold on ebay in the $550 range. One of the fenders was damaged (fixable) but the brackets were good.

The brackets are not impossible to get. There are quite a few out there.

At one time I put out a call for a set of brackets and they were like hen's teeth. But recently I have come up with some and have seen a few more go on ebay, fairly cheaply.

I remember those fenders I asked many questions about them..they were the mullhand edition fenders....but the only thing was they didn't have the inner mud flap brackets...that was a turn off for me...I thought all oem fenders came with inner mud flap brackets ?

I don't recall ever hearing of the term, "inner mud flap brackets" for Prowlers.

However, if you can describe those brackets to me, along with what fenders you'd expect those brackets to be on --- front, rear, or all --- I can look for them for you on my owned-since-new, never-wrecked, year 2000, OEM-fendered, "Prowler Red" Prowler after sunrise this Tuesday morning.

On the front fender, there is a bracket to hold the mud flaps. Some have been ripped off by minor accidents over the years. The primed fenders don't come with the bracket attached, they have to "glued" to the fender.
At least that is true with the primed fenders that I have.

Thanks to everyone who took the time to respond to my inquiry. I have decided to keep my fenders and brackets at this time as some have suggested. I don't have to sell them and I may choose to remount them sometime in the future.
