Are there any transmission cooler covers currently available in polished stainless steel?

COOL!
Most forums only allow edit to the Thread body.

Go to Home page, left column, click on Prowler products by Gary. He has a chrome cover.

Thanks for the lead.
I have seen this on his website.
It is an option, but I hope to find one in stainless.
A Search shows that there were a few produced years ago but don't appear to still be available.

Saw that one but Ken said "sold out".
I did send him an email to see if he would consider reproducing one.
We'll see...

Thanks for the lead.
Saw that one, but not a style that I prefer.

Thank you for the lead.
This appears to be one of the few, if not the only one, of any cooler covers that are stainless. I am a little hesitant because of the bad reputation that this vendor has created with the membership on POA.

I have contacted Ken.
He does not have any stainless covers available.
He does have the chrome cover that he and Gary collaborated on.
He swears by it and the chrome finish being durable.

I am going to have to give this some serious thought.....
Buy from a trusted vendor with good rep.
- or -
Consider the stainless cover from a vendor with not such a good rep.

Does anybody have this cover installed and can give me feedback on the quality and the durability of it? Gauge thickness of the material, laser cut finish, etc. Give me some idea of the quality of the part. I will consider the vendor on his feedback separately.

I don't need a discussion of the pros and cons or the differences between chrome and stainless.

I got mine from the prowler store here on POA. It looks like it's still available. It's polished stainless and provides good air flow. I've had mine for a number of years and it still looks great.

Saw that one also and I am considering it.
I like the coolers with Kat logos but so far I am undecided.

I appreciate everyone's suggestions and leads.

Yes, I talked with Ken earlier today.
That is the chrome cover that I'm considering if I go with chrome.
Ken still has a few and Gary has the rest of the production run.

Stainless is preferred but is limited as discussed above.

I have one of Gary's chrome cooler covers that has been on since 2006. It still looks great.

I confirmed this cooler cover will NOT work with a hitch installed.

The cover that Gary & Ken sell WILL FIT with the hitch, There is no problem installing it with the hitch. The one you are looking at on E Bay WILL NOT. The Prowler Store sells an entirely different cover.

Phil,
The cover that is linked WILL NOT fit with a hitch.
I am aware that the cover that Ken and Gary sell will fit with a hitch.

You are correct, I have had Ken's & Gary's cooler cover on mine for many years, no problem with installation if you have a hitch.
