Well it finally happened, went out to celebrate the Penn State win, and pow! some idiot smashed into me. Inital collisioin occured on the front left corner, and it pushed me into the guard rail. Just to answer those questions, the bumpers were removed (please keep those obvious comments to yourself). Sorry, the other pictures size is too large to post, I need to figure out how to reduce them. Not quite sure if it will be totaled or not, so please don't ask for any parts yet! Unfortunately I had the passanger side airbag turned off (because the my son was the last to ride in the car), so my buddy bounced his face off the dash. He is ok, 15 stitches and swollen knee and nose. I believe I had my belt on (not quite sure), and I bounced my head off either the top frame or side window. Cat scan showed nothing abnormal, other than my twisted mind. Being my first major accident, I am not quite sure how this is all going to work out. The good thing was that there was a police officer working the light (used after psu games to control the traffic). He witnessed everything, so I am sure he will straighten out everything. Kat is being towed to my work, so I will get some more pictures and post those.

Even being an OSU alumni and fan, I hate to hear about you, your friend, and the Kat. Hope everything works out OK.

Assuming the other guy was cited for the accident, and that he has insurance, it should work out fine. The car in not repairable as shown, so don't let them try to say to repair it, if that ever becomes an option.

Best of luck.

I am so sorry for the loss of your yellow cat But thank God you're alive and relatively unharmed. I hope no medical issues crop up due to the wreck. Cars can always be replaced...human lives can not!

Chris, sorry to see and hear of your accident. There are several Kats out there looking for a new home, so you will not be without long. You and your friend's health is what's important, keep a close watch for delayed problems that may show up, as you both took a hard hit. Speedy recovery and best wishes to all.

Chris,
Thank God that you and your passenger are OK.

Damage doesn't really look all that bad. Was there any damage to the front end portion of the aluminum frame? All the body panels can definitely be replaced.

Brian
