Sorry to hear about your bad luck, however you had the best of luck as someone was watching over you and your friend. Things in this world happen for a reason and a purpose I am sure you will find out yours. Tim |

I agree that "that sucks" but the good thing is that no one was permanently injured. That car is totalled, in my opinion, also. Hope everyone is feeling better in a few days. Hope you find a good deal on a new cat. |

Sorry to see your cat all broke-up, but I don't think the bumpers would have changed a thing if they were on there. |

SAD, if I'm not mistaken you were parked right next to my silver Prowler at the Chryslers At Carlisle this past summer. Beautiful cat that obviously had a lot of nice mods and excellent care. Hope all works out OK. |

Accidents are an unfortunate risk of driving your car. Sorry to hear about your accident, but happy to read no life threatening injuries. Good luck on getting back on the road. |

Thank you all for the kind words. Received word from the police last night that the other driver received a citation for failure to yield on a left turn. This puts my mind at ease, I started questioning exactly what I thought I saw. For those wondering, I had my parts manager price out just those visible parts that are damaged, and they total $36,000. So I assume that the vehicle will be totaled. To answer some questions, I don't know what to do about a new car. I had spent alot of time in the past year customizing my kat, and I don't know if I want to go through all that again. I guess I might just wait awhile to see what to do. I will definitely miss all of the great people on the poa, it is quite amazing what a group this is!

Chris, I just went through loosing one customized Kat that was just the way I wanted it (2001 Silver). I found a Black Tie reasonable and will be careful about permanent mods. Lots of fun which you already know Bottom Line... You survived a bad crash for a reason. The Kats are nice, but, this site is just as much about the people. Even if you don't get another Prowler right away. You will someday. Don't miss the POA. STAY!!! Brad This message has been edited by BradleyG on 10-11-2005 at 10:21 AM |

Hey Chris... We haven't talked for a while...sorry that this has to be the reason to chat again. Your car looks awful...what a shame after all the work you put into it! I'm glad you are okay...that seems to be the case in Prowler wrecks I've seen posted...the cars usually give their lives to save ours...DC did a good job in that respect. Please don't stay away from the POA just because you are currently without a Prowler...you never know when the right deal will pop up on the site. Your friend, ZACK |

Sorry to hear about your car, I am curious though if the insurance company has said anything about the bumpers missing and the extra damaged caused due to them being removed. I want to remove mine but am skeptical due to that very reason. Please let us know if that becomes an issue. Good luck with everything and am glad to hear you are ok. |

Chris - sorry about the loss of your ride,,,truly a sad situation, but you are ok! Your going to miss it,,so find another low mileage cat and start over.
99/P/99 - I doubt if those flimsy front bumpers would have made any difference except keeping the repair estimate $2,000 less to fix it. |

Chris, How are things going with the insurance company? I know they can drag their feet...just curious on how the compensated you for all the mods you did... I hope all is well. ZACK |
