I wanted to know ages of Kat owners... I bought a 1999 Prowler with 5060 miles from Thompson Lexus here in Doylestown, PA. I just got it last saturday (April 10th) and just celebrated my 22nd birthday this week, on the 13th? Just wanted to see if there were any other kids out there with kats, or am I the youngest. Cheers, thanks for all the great information in the forums everyone, and keeping them real, and true to the topics.

I disagree - I've been old enough to drink for 24 years and I'm still a kid. Well, at heart anyway. How else would you explain my obsession with toys?

Congrats Gabriel - it's pretty exciting that you were able to buy such an excellent car so early in your twenties. Way to go.

Odds are you don't need me to tell you this, but just drive it responsibly - have all the fun you possibly can, but treat it with the respect it deserves, and it'll serve you well.

Oh - one more thing that's really important for a young guy who just got his first Prowler to know - make sure you carry a nice gym bag or a small suitcase or something with you in the car - you're gonna need somewhere to put all of the panties the women are gonna be throwing at you as you drive by

Could be my grandson,,,,since the Alley Cat Prowler is titled in his name: Brandon Stewart

DOB: 11-09-98

I had to pull in some favors to get a notary to stamp his signature on the title applications when he was only one year old, lol. The very next year,,,the Draft Board wanted to know why he hadn't registered with them. Don't think the state's give out vital information? Wrong.

It's my dream car. I finish my BA and BS programs in May so I can stop commuting so far to school. I can't wait. So I jsut have a few more week of driving the baby down to Philadelphia and then I can go from putting 50 miles a day on it to about 5. Thanks for the tip about the briefcase. Speaking of which, on a serious note, I saw that www.realrod.com offers a weekender hitch for the prowler. I didn't want to deal with the big towing trailer, but does anyone know if the weekender is a good value, useful, or cheaper anywhere else? Thanks for your replies and gracious welcome.

Congratulations!

Orange is the best color! Also be proud to be the owner of such a great car at such a young age. I also believe there was a young man of (16) you got a Prowler for his birthday. I commented on how he thought it needed more power.

So Sad the follies of youth!

Congratulations and welcome to POA!! What a great graduation present and congratulations on that, too!

There are quite a few owners who have the weekender and I've not heard of any negatives to it. Some of them get very creative with it's uses.........

Congrats on your Prowler. Everyone I know that has a weekender has been very happy with it. I would get one myself except it would cover up my deck lid graphics.

Gabriel,
Welcome the the POA, and congrats on both of you achievements!!!! You will love the looks and complements you get with a Prowler. ENJOY!!!

If you are up for it some of us are getting together in Westchester later this month. Would be great for another kat to join the party. Check this link and let Brandon know. Also Spring Fling XX is next weekend in Maryland.
