With 40,000 miles there have been many but these 2 stick in my mind. Just me and the Prowler would have to be going across South Dakota to Sturgis Bike Week with the Harley on the trailer behind the Kat and running 90 to 100 for a full tank of gas. In a group I would have to say at the Colorado Event the day of the " Balls to the Wall Cruise" running the canyon with fire and drop offs to the right and the canyon walls to the left and running twice the speed limit around all the turns, then getting out on the flats and running triple digits, the only part of that day I did not care for was crossing that suspension bridge. Thanks Marc. ------------------ This message has been edited by Bob Goetz on 04-08-2005 at 07:45 AM |

Hali, After posting those photos of Novia Scotia, now I really want to get up there. I should have went to Nova Scotia when I lived in New England. It looks beautiful there and unspoiled. I hear Novia Scotia is like New England was 50 years ago. Post more pics if you can! ------------------ |

1. Most memorable - I'll agree with RealRod Bob, the Colorado Event the day of the " Balls to the Walls Cruise". What a RUSH,,,,,,,now that was a total excitement. 2. Colorado event also,,,,,,,up 14,000 feet in elevation on top of a snow packed mountain,,,,in June. 3. Without a doubt,,,,the Devil's Highway 666 Arizona cruise. Flying downhill from 10,000 feet and controlling over 1,000 turns in doing so. Separates the drivers from the lookers, and makes the Tail of the Dragon look like a "kiddy ride"! All of the Prowler events I've been on are memorable, we've loved every one of them. However, Colorado Prowlin' the Rockies has to be my favorite, because Colorado is my favorite place in the world! |

For me there have been many good times, but the best of all was My 2005 Victroy Tour--So-Cal, Az., NM., Tx. and OK. was very peaceful driving with just Cargo (my true freiend Dog) and "SUNKIST. Thousands of quite miles beautiful country, snow, rain and sunshine, meet over 100 new prowler faces from the POA, great meals and chit chatting with all. Hope to do it again someday. curtis aka block-buster ------------------ |

The most memorable time would clearly be the blizzard in NM on the trip back from getting the car. Most memorable place though... hmm... I guess I would say cruising down Route 66 in Williams AZ on that same trip, on Easter day, though I could easily be convinced to pick another place – there have been a ton of em. Oh, and we have no photos. Someone forgot to put film in the camera. Don’t worry Melissa, I won’t rat you out and tell them who it was. -Dan |

Many good ones come immediately to mind.. among them, probably in 'the order' is: Only 250 miles on the speedo and me and my best bud Ray headed for Texas for a quick cruise (Bluebonnet Run) with the Texas bunch, and headed back to Wisconsin, arriving with 3,000 miles, all from Friday to Sunday!... What a way to discover and fall in love with this car! This last year's Woodward dream cruise, though I have been to 3 now, was totally awesome! Great turnout of Prowlers! and soon to be........ the Dells, 2005! Will rank right up there with the best of 'em, where I PREDICT (you read it here first) that Bob's planned cruise of the Mississippi River road will in the future rank right up there with A/C's comment (quoted)...... 1...... the Colorado Event the day of the " Balls to the Walls Cruise". What a RUSH,,,,,,,now that was a total excitement.

The Tail of the Dragon, and a ton of other trips. This year it was rolling the lawn in the back yard with those wide rear tires, seriously. It took care of all the mole tunnels. The trap took care of the mole. |
