I see these chrome shift knobs that were originally on
Chrysler 300's going for $180 and more on eBay that can
be used on the Prowler. I know Chrysler doesn't make them
anymore, but what is the appeal about these knobs.(?)

it's supply and demand.if you want a real cool one ,try real rods lighted flame ball shifter,the absolute coolest.

I have to agree with Jan....To each his own tastes...but for me it's the Flame Ball Shifter...see my previous post!

For $30 you can have the same look as the OEM knob. Actually nicer if you ask me.

Chrome stands out better then the plain black! You don't have a lot of choices! I have a extra stock one with a chrome overlay on my parts shelf if you want it for $60 (what i paid for the chrome overlay without the stock shifter)ebay

I really like my new flame shifter - especially at night.

The 300M chrome shifter is also a major upgrade from the standard shifter. It compliments the chrome bezel nicely. But it is now sitting on a shelf in the garage!
