The year is now 2027......Prowlers have been out of production for 25 years, but there are still diehard Kat fans nationwide.....the POA still exists although things have changed thru the years, PROGRESS they call it !!!
This years event "the Depends Nationals" was held in Miami, Fl. where nearly all POA members now reside.....the event was co-sponsored by our good friends at Butcher and Son Funeral Parlor, and Soylent Green Foods....

Highlights at this years event....

* CNote6 put on his usual sparks demonstration, although after 25 years of demonstrations he wears welders goggles all the time now, he was going to give the airhorn another blast, but couldn't remember where the switch was this year...this last year Christy added on another wing to their house to store the trophys from 25 years of competitive driving...
*Dave Ridge finally got some of his ponytail cut off, if you remember last year it got wrapped around the rear tire and caused quite a lot of smoke...it barely touches the ground now....
*CJ is shorter again this year, takes 3 Detroit phone books to get her to the window sill....her hair looks good all white, just that one red streak in front....
*Larry "Cruised Too Much" Lord has a new Kat product for sale this year, a 7 day pill dispenser with a Prowler logo....attaches to the sun visor....
*Bob Goetz of "Real Old Rod" won the curbside parking event this year with a time of 13 minutes flat( he did have to get out of the car 3 times to check distances and hit 2 cones)...he finally was made the national spokesman for Jello this past year since Bill Cosby died at the tender age of 99....Bob says "there's always room for Jello" He just doesn't always remember where he put it...
*Ed Monahan showed up with his beautiful red Prowler.....he has spent the last 23 years engineering and installing a sunroof....we all thought it would be in the roof, what a surprise to see it in the trunk lid...looked stock....his classmates Fred and Barney also attended this years festivities....he is secretive about his next plans for the Kat, but says we will be impressed(rumor is, something to do with bladder control).....
* GaryC is moving again, down to a ground floor in the complex.....he put some of his fenders back on a few years ago, not sure if they are all in the right places though....still looks good....
* Mike K and Judy finally sold their Prowler collection this last year for 8.2 million dollars....it was purchased by "the Dude Family", they have won over 700 million dollars in the Powerball Lottery the last few years..... the museum is closed and Alley Cat is out of work, and with his reputation jobs are mighty hard to find, especially guarding something....
* Wildcat has repainted his car AGAIN...he added the nose piece from a Buick LeSabre and painted the entire car a beautiful brownish gray....Sue is out of the hospital again, Larry forgot she was still polishing the wheels and backed over her foot.....her steel toed boots have helped alot the last few years....he is also working on the next calendar....wonders if we want a 6 month calendar this time, no need to waste the money on 12 months if we don't need them....
* Tom Mills turn signal kits have a new option.....they automatically TURN OFF the turn signals for those of us that forget from time to time....
* Marty Ushers Kat hit the HALF MILLION MILE mark last summer on a road trip to the other end of his driveway....and my yellow Kat finally turned 200 miles on the odometer...it has averaged 8 miles per year since I bought it....gotta keep those miles down, will drive it less in the future....
* Mike Gatlin will be taking orders for "POA Girls Gone Wild #16"......see the girls of the POA running down a sandy beach with with their dentures out....HOT HOT HOT !!!
* Since the war with Canada in 2023, we haven't seen or heard from the Canadian contingent....reminds me, Northern Kat says we only need 2 more sets of side panels ordered to get production started....

*Awards were presented this year for the most plaids worn in one outfit......Winner was Ed Monohan....he always did have style....

Larry:

Slow work week for you? Do I need to come back down for square steaks to get your mind refocused? That was some of the best reading I have had on this board in some time. Good insight my friend!

Larry,

See Richard about that "eye" problem!

You forgot, there's already a lengthy post on the High Speed POA about which part of Florida we should have the 2028 event in to bring in the most kats!

Good one!

Larry - GREAT WORK!!!

Scot Sterns now has some competition

You did forget the part about your raccoon replacing Jack the Wonder Dog as the official POA mascot. Jack made it to age 24, outliving Chromer by several years.

T/Rex Randall - NO, I will not be in jail. I will be working for BUTCHER AND SONS Funeral Home there in Florida,,,,and when you pass I'll sell your family the big package with lots of tears. Fact is, I'm going to throw your body to the gator out in a swamp pit.

Larry, I didn't realize it was meant to be funny. I figured it was all pretty much, DEAD on. lol.
Excellent work !! I WAS offended about too much plaid. I know to only use one plaid and the rest should be stripes and polka dots. I read the AARP Fashion for Men Periodical. I was happy to finally win an award, however. Did I get a trophy? lol
Good job.

Very funny!
I guess since the War with Canada ended in 2023,you forgot to mention that they had then become the 51st state and some of us(like myself) decided to spend our retirement in Florida and open an Antique store featuring stuff from the turn of the century including the Prowler/Viper collection!

Actually Larry, I should hit a half million miles in 2019 and be on my sixth or seventh engine rebuild!

I enjoyed a look into the future of POA.

NOW, MY CAR WILL NEVER BE PAINTED BROWN OR HAVE A BUICK GRILL, I don't care how old and senile I get even if I get as bad as ED, but come to think of it the grill out of my imperial might look good......LOL
