Who owns the first Prowler made? Who owns the last Plymouth Prowler made? I think it's Mike K. Who owns the first Chrysler Prowler made? Who owns Woodward #1? Who owns Black-Tie #1? What's the highest recorded price paid for a new prowler? What's the lowest price paid for a new Prowler? ------------------ Mods: 2001 Speed Yellow Porsche Cabriolet |

Mike K. definitely owns the last Plymouth Prowler.. It would take me a while to research the rest unless those people who own them stand up and say so!! ------------------ |

I believe the #1 Woodward was just up for sale on Ebay with a reserve somewhere around $60,000. Did not sell. ------------------ |

Lowest price may not be a fair test as prices of the car have steadily gone up and then of course you had bizzare prices when it first came out. So I'll rephrase this question to: What is the largest discount you know of off of a dealer MSRP, new vehicle? I know a dealer that is taking $4K off the sticker of a new Black-Tie. ------------------ Mods: 2001 Speed Yellow Porsche Cabriolet |

Lowest price paid? To a retail customer only? I know of $42,900 for a 2001. Anybody know one lower? ------------------

I think you have to go from invoice and by an amount over or under invoice - since invoice can vary on different models over the years - for example the 2k1 Mulholland vs. the 2k1 silver or orange or black tie, etc. ------------------ |

BUY IN CANADA Cars are available below sticker. Sticker in Canada is about $63,000, which converted at todays rate of .6438 is US$40,560 (versus sticker in US of $46,000 or so). You can definitely get a new Prowler well below $40,000 in Canada ------------------ |

I paid $5000 over sticker for my 2000 Silver..$49,000 in November of 1999 and Sticker $46,000 for my Mulholland this past February. Since then however, the economy has been awful to say the least..and for me, the big tell, is to see how many Corvettes every dealer has on their lots..Even dealers that have low allotments have several..Frank Parra her in TX has probably 150 on his lot. Lots of deals on 2001 Vettes.. ------------------ |

Its funny, I got hammered on a 2001 clk 430 here in Houston, loved so I let em jack me for 10k over sticker. But, what the hell, I got it, wasnt gonna need it so why not. The Prowler I paid 46,9, and I think it was about right. Its all in what you want, my 2000 vette I paid straight up sticker. The moral, however is that my sales person on my benz has called me 3 times to get me to sell it back to them because they can't get any, so some one is buying. Maybe there are just a lot of other cars out there now that tickle the fancy as the Prowler tickles ours (sorry for the tickle reference!) I love the thing I have been off for two days because the weather here in Houston has been awesome and I think now I would have paid more for her cause she rocks! I think the price will level off soon. By the way who's economy is bad, I mean unless you did not see the .com pyramid scheme crashing, I think everything else is just anti GW media hype driven by poverty pimps who can't stand a good economy while a republican is at the helm. Here in Houstojn, the can not build enough houses, enough malls, enough restuarants, and sell enough cars (with the exception I guess of the Prowler(I'd buy anouther one but I am flat out of garage space and the wife is getting a bit nervous!)), SO enjoy price is not the issue, value is in the beholder. We own em "they" don't except Todd(peace Todd) OUT |

Todd, you cool. How close to you live to Hermosa Beach or to Newport Beach? My wife and I like to head that way a couple of times to see concerts(mostly punk rock/pennywise). I'll look you up if your close. Peace dude. |

I found one on autotrader.com about a month ago selling for $26K. But when I called, I was told that it was a mistake and was actually selling for $46K. Oh well... I personally paid sticker for mine ($42,000). I am happy, but sure would have been happier to get it for $1. ------------------ |
