There is an article on the Chrysler Howler Concept car on page 106. They test drove the car and show the V8 shoe horned in place of the V6 on a modified frame. The specs claim only 250hp! ------------------ |

Love the sound, but I'll keep the one I have. What comes after "butt ugly"? I don't like the look. |

I was told by a Chrysler executive that the the term for anything completely, absolutely, no hope ugly is no longer "Butt-Ugly" but is now "Aztek-Ugly". After seeing the Pontiac Aztek, I now agree that the term was changed to "Aztek-Ugly" with good cause in my opinion. [This message has been edited by Larry Lord (edited 10-28-2000).] |

Larry, I saw an Aztec the other day for the first time and have to agree that it's the most bizzare thing I've ever seen. |

quote: Mike, I had posted something about this a while back but here is the jist again. Why would anyone want the added weight of the V-8 and added cost for less horsepower and a 0-60 time that was over a second slower then a stock Prowler with a V-6? I believe their Howler also had a 6-speed too but I could be wrong. |
