Prototype done, this is what they will look like... machined from 6061 T6 solid aluminum plate... way better finish than I expected... I'll get them marked for the holes this weekend... going to change the mounting holes to slots for adjustability ...

With the right polish and buffing pads you can easily get them to look like chrome. |

quick update... the proto is back to the machinist to drill the mounting holes. once I get them back I will install them on my car to make sure the final fit is correct, once that is confirmed they will be ready to produce... last count we have 12 sets spoken for. I will pm everyone when we get a bit farther along... watch the thread for photos, sorry its taken so long to get this project to this stage but I had to take the time and do it right rather than push something through in a hurry. With what I got going on I have limited time to spend on projects....Thanks for your patience... Jim |

I'm sure everyone is very appreciative of the time and effort you have put forth in this endeavor. We will all sit tight and await the finished product. Thanks for being so patient guys, been very busy since the holiday but am going to call the machine shop in the morning to get this thing rolling... I would like to get this done soon. I've been working a lot on my glass, every spare moment really in preparation for a show I'm going to march 11th. I need inventory to sell and will need to get some type of display made and my website done... Not enough time in the day for me right now... I should have some infor in the next day or so on the nerfs...

After the holiday break the machine shop is getting back to the project. The attachment brackets are being made and all the 1 1/2" T6061 aluminum plate stock is there. For us to get the price agreed on, they fit the work in to their schedule in the gaps.. Shouldn't be long now, |
