Art, You have to push down on the top of the dash where it meets the windshield (on the far right and far left). While you are pushing down with one hand, pull the dash straight back toward the seats. Do one side at a time. It takes a pretty good jolt to pull it loose. Wildcat took a stiff blade putty knife and bent the tip to form a pulling tool. Says it worked great. I did it with brute strength. lol. Iput some soft velcro pieces on the edges of the dash while I had it out. That stops the squeaks. |
