I go to Pasadena at least once a week. If you get a set completed I can stop by, we can install them and take some Pictures to post. I could also be one of your first customers. Let me know, glad to help out. Dan G. |

Hey guys, I got a pair of third brake lenses tonight in the mail. I checked them out. Good news: I can make these in any color no problem. I will make a mold for this item this weekend. With some minor elbow grease, the lnes comes out and exposes the LED array which is red. So a clear lens can placed there. Bad news: they are larger than they look in the picture so the price will be a bit higher. Probably in the $80-100 range but not sure until I measure the weight of the lens. Ther lens also will require a 3 part mold, not a 2. Also, I posed a question to the owner about polishing off the Chrysler logo. If he says its ok, I can have the first piece done by Saturday evening. if he wants to keep his original lens intact and original, I will have to make a copy of it, then polish off the logo on the copy, then make another mold so that means I wont have the first part until Monday. I will have that copy but I won't be able to sell it because of the logo. Thanks guys. Looks to be a good project and will yiled the results I typically expect. Get your money ready! I cannot use the side marker that William sent me to make a mold. It ghas sustained too much damage in previous testing to be viable. I can make the parts, but I will have to order two spares from Chrysler or wherever. Anyone have the part numbers for the side markers? Thanks. William, i will return the marker if you like. Thanks for sending, it just has too much cutting done to it. I coudl use it but it appears the marker is surface mounted and the edges woudl be seen so i need a near 100% quality piece. i may be able to use the back portion though. What i need to know now is the part numbers. also, if the left and right are the same, then i can definitely use the back half and only have to buy one marker to cut up and make the front half. i will do some searching, also i will be at chrysler dealer tomorrow so i will check with them too. |

I don't know how I missed this thread. I live in Ventura County and have changed my side panels. I can loan you my factory panels or just the side markers which have not been removed (I will remove them) if you still need a set to make a mold from. The earliest I could get these to you would probably be Friday afternoon (3pm or so) or Saturday. Or you could pick them up (I am about 15 minutes West of Magic Mountain) if you want them sooner. Just email me or call me on my cell phone (805) 276-0041 to make arrangements.

only problem with a loan, i have to "cut" them apart, the lenses, and can't guarantee their safe return. i can guarantee a clear set but not the return of the original. also, can you quick check and see if there is a left/right or if it is the same part. i am about to go to chrysler this morning anyway to pick my junk pile of a car so i will ask parts dept. |

I can get to my side panels this afternoon (they are in my attic at home). If you don't have your answer about the part numbers by then, I will go up there and pull them down. |
