Except for the four busy days Friday through Monday this is otherwise a pretty informal event. I hope everyone enjoys the event and finds the time of leisure a welcome change to the usual busy schedule. Please take the time to enjoy the sights of Tulsa with your friends and or family. PLEASE FILL YOUR CARS UP THE EVENING BEFORE EACH ACTIVITY Thursday 06/14 Arrival Day. Check In. get event package, meet and greet. Ron Behr has planned a catered Party in the Parking lot Thursday night. The caterers will start serving around 6:45 PM. The hotel will set up tables and trash bags. We will also be setting up a TV and DVD player and showing Mike Gatlin Videos. Please help keep the parking lot clean. Friday 06/15 First day of event. Unearthing of 57 Plymouth at 12:00 noon at the Courthouse. The seating at the courthouse is limited so the unearthing will be broadcast over closed circuit TV at the Convention Center. Admission is free and they will begin seating at 10:30. We will want to leave the Hotel around 9:00 AM to get downtown and get a good place in line. The Plymouth will unveiled at 6:30 PM at the Tulsa Convention Center. Seating in the Civic center is not reserved so seating is on a first come first seated basis. We have nothing planned between noon and 6:30 so it will give folks time to eat and get downtown early. Zack has arranged reserved parking for us $6 per car. This allows you to park for the noon event, leave if you prefer and then return for the unveiling at 6:30. Saturday 06/16 Outdoor Open Car Show which the Prowlers are entered, We have around 90 cars right now. We have to be on the show lot not later than 9:45. So this will be an early start morning and right now I plan to leave the Hotel no later than 8:30 AM. Also an Indoor Car show featuring cars manufactured 1980 and prior. Your Car show exhibitor badge will give you free and unlimited access to the indoor car show. Beer is not permitted on the Open Car show lot, however it will be for sale inside the Convention Center. There is a sock hop at 7:30 PM for those interested. There is a fee for the Sock Hop. Sunday 06/17 A Prowler cruise planned by Zack. Departure will be around 10:00 AM .There will be a approx an 1 hour lunch break in the middle of the cruise. Thanks to Lance Delk , at the end of the cruise we will stop at Haikey Creek Park (Lance will post pictures soon) for a BBQ dinner. Please bring camp chairs if you can. Monday 06/18 An cruise along route 66 to Oklahoma City. Zack will announce the departure time, We will not be stopping during the cruise to OK City. We can return via the same route and stop at any spots of interest. Or if you prefer you can return to Tulsa on the interstate. A good number of folks will be departing this day. Tuesday 06/19 Day of Leisure to see some sights on your own , relax at the pool or whatever.
Thursday 06/21 Also a free day and some will be checking out. PLEASE FILL YOUR CARS UP THE EVENING BEFORE EACH ACTIVITY |

Rich...how about a cruise to OKC on Monday or Wednesday? It's only a 90 mile (less than an hour and 1 1/2) drive and lots to see and do here...especially in the Bricktown area. Only about 5 blocks from Oklahoma City National Memorial...see links: On a weekday I can line up a parking lot just for us. Tons of restaurants, water taxi rides, shops, land run monument, etc... all in walking distance. Ray...I can line up the escort and Hooters reservations here with no problem. |

A good friend of mine from the OKC Mopar Club might be willing to setup a fun Poker Run. We have done that four or five years in a row in the Atoka area. Would anyone be interested in that? There is some beautiful scenery and great twisty roads through the OK hills... Dave |

Type in locations and dates - same as other sites. During dates of Tulsa event, as of tonight with all taxes and fees there are 6 flights all with one stop for $323.00. There are numerous other options available too. I'd appreciate you trying our travel booking engine. At least you kind of know who I am. Do you know anyone at Expedia or Travelocity?? Hey all, I'm just jumping in here. This may have been covered already. If so, my bad. Addition to the invite only car show, there is a open show also. Click on registration, open show. Most of the other Plymouth Car Clubs will be in there. I hope to meet up with alot of you guys and gals again. My old flatty should have almost double the horse power by then,, (from 97,, lol) See you all there. |

JD, thanks for posting that. The Invitational Car Show requires your car to be there from Thursday to Sunday, which would greatly hamper getting around and going on any cruises. However, the open car show might be something we would want to do as a group. It says they are going to unearth the car at Noon on Friday but not unveil it until 6:30 PM inside the Convention Center and you need to buy a ticket to attend. UNVEILING the Belvedere - 6:30 p.m. June 15, 2007 At 6:30 p.m. the 1957 Plymouth Belvedere will be unveiled for all the public to see. Doors open at 5:00 p.m. to this general admission ticketed event which will take place in the Arena of the Tulsa Convention Center. In addition to seeing the Belvedere for the first time in 50 years, the contents of the time capsule will be revealed in addition to the items located in the glove compartment and trunk of the car. The car is the star of the show! Tickets for the unveiling may be purchased by visiting the box office at the Tulsa Convention Center or going to www.carsonattractions.com. Tickets are $5 for upper level seating and $10 for lower level seating. If a $10 ticket is purchased, this allows you into the Invitational Auto Show. Tulsarama Open Car Show - June 16-17, 2007 Areas of downtown Tulsa, centrally located to the Tulsa Convention Center will be closed and designated parking lots will be official areas of the Open Car Show. These locations will house food vendors, cars, car clubs and exhibitors. This portion of Tulsarama is free and open to the public. To showcase your car at the Open Car Show in a designated area, there is a $20 registration fee that includes two official badges and the space for your car. Please complete the enclosed application and register today. ********************************************************** I'll admit,,,I haven't read every post on these Tulsa threads >>> are we set up for the above attractions? Are we buying a block of tickets to be assured of good lower level seats?
