CJ - It looks like your casual get together for a dozen or so kats has mushroomed. It's tough being popular isn't it! You may top the 60+ Prowlers that were there in 2001! I hope you keep it informal and everyone just does their own thing for the most part so you & Bob can enjoy it too. |

Okay, so does that mean no one wants to go to Harold's or MSX to see the concept vehicles or the plant to shop?? If not, I won't bother to pursue it. Working on parking at 13 and Woodward the day of Dream Cruise in DC's display. Yes or No?? Believe me, this isn't going to be that rigid an event. There are plenty of things to do......cruisin' every night on Woodward (but it's more fun as a group) and of course eating!! I've had lots of offers of help, too, so this should be an easy thing. I have every intention of having a blast. There won't be dash plaques, shirts or anything like that... just fun!! Anyone who wants to join in great, if you want to do your own thing, okay too! |

quote: Gene.......during the week, during the day, Woodward is a very busy and heavily traveled road. Not good for cruising during the day. After 5, it's every man for themselves on Woodward. The nightly cruising starts the weekend before Dream Cruise!! And there are established Cruise-ins everywhere that can also be attended every night of the week in Michigan. |

Nope, Marty, not interested in doing any of that. This sort of started out with a "hey, CJ are you going to do anything for Dream Cruise" and a few people to "Yikes!! I'm going to have a lot of company for Dream Cruise". I'm happy to put together a non-stressful, laid back Prowler gathering.......and that's what it's going to be. You can buy shirts, dash plaques, pins, etc. of the Dream Cruise at the Dream Cruise. No event fees (except maybe a donation for the last night cookout at our house), no registration........nada. I'll post more as the event gets closer and I finalize some plans. Already have hotel and hotel parking taken care of! |

CJ, how about we all park our trucks and trailers on your street? Sitting in a chair, watching all the cool cars go by, bsing with friends is all it'll take to make me happy. Course if you go to Harold's and MSX I'll be following right behind you. |

I had to surrender my card as part of my Federal parole. They wanted my Passport and my Visa. They told me not to leave home with or without it. |

CJ, I live just around the corner from Kart2Kart. If you want I can talk to them and see if we can get a special group rate and see if we can reserve a block of time for POA members and their families. I think they would love to have 15 to 30 Prowlers sitting in their parking lot for any length of time during Woodward Cruise Week. I've never been there myself but my son has and he said they had a blast. ------------------ |
