I thought I would consolidate my posts to only one here in the Events area, to summarize general information about our International Prowler Owners Association Winter Event, Prowlin’ the Seas… Keep your Cats hibernating in the garage this winter and join the gang for a different kind of Prowlin’ cruise…in the Caribbean! We’ll convene on Royal Caribbean’s beautiful megaship, Explorer of the Seas, February 22, sailing roundtrip from Miami for seven nights of fun, sun, food, and fellowship. We can rendezvous at Johnny Rocket’s Diner, catch a stage production or an ice skating show, stay in shape at the fitness center or on the inline skating rink, and even test our skills at the mini-golf course or the rock-climbing wall. Whatever we do, our first International Prowler Owners Association Winter Event is one not to miss! Departing from Miami we will enjoy 2 full days relaxing at sea plus stopping at the ports of San Juan, St. Maarten, St. Thomas and Nassau in the Bahamas… 7 days and nights in Paradise before returning to Miami. Prices are per person, based on double occupancy, and include port charges, however the taxes/government fees are additional. Third/fourth persons in a cabin pay $499. Air travel can also be arranged. Trip cancellation insurance is optional but recommended. The cruise price includes your cabin accommodations, event registration fee, a Prowler party, other planned Prowler events, a surprise Prowlin’ the Seas memento, meals, room service, and onboard entertainment. You will only pay additional for personal expenses (i.e. shore excursions), and gratuities, and any casino “donations,” you desire. Cabins at our special group rate must be reserved through Lynn & Ben Catalina, the event’s “Official” Agents, as selected by Nancy & me, by September 20 with a $250 per person deposit. The balance will be due on December 12—what a wonderful Christmas present! For those desiring Suites, these are handled separately—call us quickly for availability. Remember, if you must cancel prior to the December deadline, you will only lose a $35 per person administrative fee. Guarantee your WINTER FUN in Paradise and reserve your cabin now! Got questions? Call Nancy & Jay, the Prowlin’ the Seas sponsors at 800-669-3540 or email jay@yellercat.com. For cruise specific questions and to reserve your cabin on the World’s LARGEST Cruise Ship, please call the “Official” Prowlin’ the Seas agents in charge of all reservations: Some of you have asked for a specific list of our Prowler Owner’s events, activities and amenities. We only have a tentative list now, as the final list will be determined by how many people are “Official” participants with our special RCCL Prowlin’ the Seas “Official” group. The more “Official” participants we have, the more RCCL events and amenities we will qualify for. Currently we have tentatively planned (all times and locations to be determined later) the following… Saturday, Informal Prowler Owner’s Welcome by Judy & Mike Krehel, the POA Adminstrators, Nancy & Jay Harris, your Prowlin’ the Seas sponsors (p.m.) Your Prowler event fee (included as part of the cruise package) subsidizes part of the above “Official” Prowler’s Owners activities. Additionally, as our guest, Nancy and I are contributing some special one-of-a-kind mementos, such as a special Prowlin’ the Seas 2003 SHIMMMERS, embroidered patches, and a surprise gift or two that we are keeping under wraps. Also as an “Official” participant in this POA Event, there will be a special POA commemorative memento just for you from Judy and Mike Krehel! Nancy and I, along with the current “Official” registered Participants for this fantastic FUN event, look forward to having you join us… Welcome Aboard Y’all. I just checked on the Royal Caribbean Cruise site and we have 21 people signed up a Cruise Critic Party. This is another party in addition to all the other Prowler Activities. The party, however, is open to anyone who is on the cruise and signs up so we will be meeting some new folks too. Once we get 25 people signed up I will be able to look at who registered for the party and it will become an official sponsored party hosted by Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines. If you haven't signed up yet go to http://www.royalcaribbean.com/asp/cruisecritic/entry.asp and put in your booking number, ship, and sail date and add yourself to the party. |

Thanks for setting this party in motion Phil. Adds another option for our events of the week. I have a short video of the Royal Caribbean cruise. It's less than 10 minutes in length but gives an excellent overview of our ship, the facilities, the activities on board, the cabin types, sports facilities, dining, etc. Please call Lynn or me at 1-888-522-7447 and we'll be happy to send you your personal copy. This is for those already signed up AND for those still "thinkin' bout it." Ben |

Phil, or any others, can you explain what the " Royal Caribbean Critic Party" is? I will be going on the cruise so what is this party? What do they do? Any other info. Why do we have to sign up for it? Why can't we just go when we get there? Sorry for all the questions, I just don't get it. See you all soon. Jim |

Jim, Click on the URL from one of my earlier replies and it will explain a little. You get a room, refreshments, and snacks. I figured what the heck, why not another party. I'm hoping since we now have more than 25 guests who have registered Royal Caribbean would send me some additional information. This is open to anyone on the cruise but you must register before the cruise to attend. I'll let everyone know as soon as I have additional information unless someone else has attended one of these on another cruise. Phil |

More commemorative Prowlin' the Seas 2003 SHIMMERS are being produced this week. Remember these are hand-crafted and take a little while to make, but I am planning to have enough made to get caught up by this weekend. Sorry for the delay. Also, to the several additional Owners that have recently reserved cabins, I hope to have your SHIMMERS this week as well. Remember, Lynn & Ben can only hold our block of rooms until 20 September 2002, so give them a call today @ 888 522 7447 and then any cabins reserved may located anywhere on the ship. Thanks for your understanding and WELCOME ABOARD, Jay |
