John, I'm all for moderate accommodations, close to food and of course good lighted parking. Hampton Inn, Fairfield Inn, Holiday Inn are places I usually check out. Phil ------------------ |

Hey folks, Planning on staying in the motor home at the Hotels. We can keep an ear (and occasional eye) on the cars in the parking lot. I'll make my 12 year old nephew stay up all night if you would prefer - he can sleep all day! Steve ------------------

Steve, sounds like you need an oversized flag for the motorhome. You can be the "Home away from Home" Ed, what's the biggest flag you can find? ------------------ |

Hey guys, here's the info on the hotel for Sioux City. It's the Holiday Inn off I-29. It's newly remodeled with a well lit parking lot and across from the "Belle of Sioux City" riverboat casino. www.argosycasinos.com/property/sioux_city/sioux_city_home.asp The group rate is $59/night for a single king and $64/night for a double queen. They are getting booked up for the 4th, so call A.S.A.P. to reserve your room. 800-238-6146 and mention "Prowler Online" for the discount. See ya there! I got reservations in Souix City for July 15th, not nearly as crowded. lol. Thanks for taking care of that for everyone, DavidN. My biggest concern is that BigFoot will know where we are staying and might turn up for a free meal. |

If anyone wants to sleep in the back of my pickup, I now have a waterbed installed. Am I a genius, or what? That was a rhetorical question, not literal. I am not looking for answers. GPS Schultz, where are we staying in Peoria? Post post-haste. I'm on a roll tonight. |
