In speaking to Dave Genet yesterday with regard to the funeral arrangements, he stated that Phil was not a "flower kind of guy" and that Phil would appreciate support of the two organizations that are listed above. However, POA has sent a floral arrangement on behalf of all his friends at POA. I asked that red flowers be included to represent the Prowler he loved so much. The card reads: Phil From your other family......Prowler Owners Association |

CJ, thanks for taking the initiative to do this on behalf of all of us who loved Phil and as a gesture to show his family that our thoughts and prayers are truly with them. I think all would agree when we suffer the loss of a loved one there is some measure of comfort in knowing that many are praying and thinking of them and also to know that Phil was loved by many. Dr. Genet will be greatly missed by all. Sharon and I had the great pleasure and honor of meeting him last year at the Louisville summer event. We again had the pleasure discussing life and events with him at the fall Cincinnati Tall Stacks cruise. His ongoing battle with many unfortunate maladies and his positive outlook always left me in awe. May he rest in pease........ |

Rod, I don't think we will have time to meet. I just got home from a real adventure and Sandy is working tomorrow. Her # 2 nurse's dad is having surgery and was already off work. We will be lucky to get out here at 4 PM. We will get there as soon as possible but it will be our usual last minute dash. |
