UPdate: I am working with Terry to see if he can make these products for the Prowler at a reasonable price. Please read my last post.

Will these fit the Prowler wheels?

Dont think so, Howard. Those American Racing Hubs are designed to screw on to the wheel and then that Spinner fits over the Hub. Theres nowhere for the Hub to screw on to the Prowler Wheel. They would look beautiful though if it was possible..

I wrote Terry an email. Here is his response. If anyone know about the Prowler wheels they can contact him. He might be able to make a product for our wheels. Use his web page to contact him.

Torque Thrust Central

I am a one man operation. I work from home and do not have set hours or a store. I come and go when I have a need.
It is hard to concentrate on running equipment and talk on the phone. I can answer a lot of questions late at nite or early in the AM and send pictures & written information to my customers with e mails.
I do give my phone number out when its needed.
I get an average 20 to 30 emails a day and I delete all messages as soon
as I answer them. Please use "REPLY" when answering my mail to you so I
can remember what we are talking about.
If you are trying to make something work on your wheels or wheels on a carand cannot find the parts. Sent pictures and measurements of parts & wheel as it makes life easier for me to visualize your wants.
Take clear close ups as I dont care about anything but the wheel or caps.
In some cases I may already know how to get the same result as you want.
I ask questions of the customer because I am trying to save run around time for both of us. I have found its easier to have a question , pictures and measurements all in the same email to get the correct answer.

Please visit my web page. Click on the address below & it will take you to Torque Thrust Central.

Thank You
Terry

I have looked at Terry's site. If someone knows the model number, and information about the American Racing wheels, it looks like he can make the Prowler group a great product at a competitive price. Spinners. etc.

Just look at his site. He has some great products.

It looks like Terry wants to work with the Prowler group to make some spinners and knockoffs at a very reasonable price. Here is some of the correspondence I have received from him.

Does someone have a damaged wheel they can send him??? I will get you his address.

Howard : I saved all your pictures to my files.
Is this wheel made for just the prowler?
I have some contacts at American and have asked for some information on the subject.
I am a one man band and sort of stay behind.
I will be working on this.
Terry

Howard : Are there more than one style of Prowler (stock) wheels?
Are your caps the same even tho sizes differ?
Do you know of any broken or bent wheels that I could have or buy?
Terry

Howard: I have a 17 inch that is bent slightly and the chrome peeled from the inside. I would send it to him if it would help. The center section is fine for his purposes. Can you make arrangements with him for me to ship to him. Get me the particulars and I will ship before I leave for Indiana. Did you advise him that the center sections are the same on the 17's and 20's? Jim Warner

I hate to throw a monkey wrench in here but the center hole on the front wheel is NOT the same size as the hole in the center of the rear wheel.
I put some of those ENKEI center caps on the first 99 RED. They are different sizes. Not a lot, but definitely diff.

I agree, but the caps are exactly the same, that could be the sapling from which a tree will sprout. Seems he had asked Howard about the caps being same. Although I'm still so POed about the "parts for sale", I can't see straight. This to shall pass!!!

Terry is located in Burlington Washington. If someone lives near this location maybe then can stop at his place with their prowler. I am still waiting on his exact address.

I hope this works out well for everyone.

GM's Styled Wheels had a center cap that fit on an extended tri-pod which affixed to 3 of the lug bolt studs. If an extender can be fabricated for the front seperately from one for the rear bolt pattern then perhaps the center cap can be assembled in 2 pieces. Both the spinner and cap would probably be affixed to the extender by 3 chrome head screws. It could work. Awaiting full address and I will try to find the spec's. for the bolt pattern centers for front and rear. Jim

Thank you for getting this in the works for us.
How much further would this make them stick out on the Kat? If I purchased a set, I would also want a set for the trailer. Would it work on those too?
