My first indication was not seeing the radiator support notched out.

I guess I am one of a few who think putting a piece of 'go-fast' plastic inside your car is the tackiest thing on the planet. This is what the critics of the Prowler would regard as more of the image nonsense with nothing to back it up. If I missed the joke, sorry, but why not add 'Turbo', NOs, and V10 decals if this is the accepted norm? Like your plain girlfriend, love her for her core and don't keep making her dye her hair.... :-)

Same here. I don't like fakery in any form.
(Except maybe fishing lures & duck decoys)

A lure is not fakery. It serves a purpose, has a specific goal that will lead to a planned outcome and is a fit-for-purpose design. A fake intake cover is just … a fake. It might have been a gimmick for a photoshoot but if not, it's a useless, assinine addition that nobody needs. It irks me since I know what a guy like Tony Goertz puts into a car that has a REAL Hemi intake and this should not be on the same continent, IMHO. Take it off, please! Be proud of the V6 and it's place in the history of the Prowler.

After further reflection, I thought of a fake thing I like. The Buick fake exhaust ports on the front fenders, as long as Buick applied them at the factory. I do not like aftermarket fake Buick fake exhaust ports applied for bling.
If I keep thinking about this I might come up with other fake stuff I like...

The Prowler only made 7 HP less than a Mustang GT of the same year (and yes that was their V8).

At the Prowler drags in No Problem Raceway in Louisiana I outran a 5.0 Mustang in 1/4 mile. The guy must have been really made because he immediately drove right out the main gate and left.

The gauge where the oil filler plug would go is the give away for me. But points for creativity for filling the hole.

And the Prowler is probably a good bit lighter.

So technically, If you change the badging to 3.5L V6 - it would be spot on.
