I would just like to set the record straight here. There is no special treatment going on with members. There are a few people that have sent in multiple large contributions and have requested that it be put to other years and I have always acknowledged their request. In the case of Ray he was a member from nearly day one and contributed regularly. He was banned several years ago and lost his past stars. He requested to become a member again and was granted access a couple of years ago. He recently sent in a very generous contribution with a request to restore his past stars. As far as Beachcat, he just keeps contributing several times throughout the year and I felt compelled to give him at least an additional year star. Cnote6 has always sent in additional contributions with a request to stay a year ahead. Slick was was the owner of the ProwlerClub.com and merged with ProwlerOnline and is considered an Honorary member with a lifetime membership. I just want to make clear that I don't play favorites with members and I hope the above explanations help make that clear. There is no special treatment or waivers for anyone. If anyone contributes several hundred dollars, which is above and beyond the normal contribution, I believe that they deserve to be recognized for this and deserve the requested additional stars within reason. We were just joking around Mike. Hope you didn't take it the wrong way. I actually never knew why I had the next year's star. I just assumed what you said, to be the case. I like to do my part. Especially if I sell something in the classified. I think the house should get a cut sometimes. I hope everyone contributes what they can. |

For those on the "Fence" to donate or not, your generosity would be appreciated. As of this moment 2015 donations tabulated are $1,340.00 Past year donations reported were: 2014 $6434.00----2013 $5050.00----2012 $4602.00----2011 $2961.50----2010 $3805.00 Looks like we are getting a slow start especially since the year is close to the halfway point. |

It would be nice as a POA collective group to at least beat the 2014 donation total. There has been a steady incline from 2011, lets keep this going. If I remember correctly, Mike still has to use out of pocket funds to add to the donations to keep the site running. Most of us would like updates to the site, but I do not blame Mike for not doing them if we do not pitch in as a collective group. We do have disagreements here now and then but that is unavoidable, we are here for one main reason, PROWLERS. I understand everyone is in different financial situations but find it within yourself to give what you can to preserve this great site. |
