Mickey, I am very sorry to hear about your illness. I hope you stay as comfortable as you can as you fight the cancer. I know we have been on opposite sides of the fence before and then sometimes on the same side but it's all good in the end. Take care my friend. Gary Here's too you! Mickey.....Although I'm sure there will be many days that you won't feel like posting anything on this site many of us want to continue hearing your comments and opinions as we have for these many years. You've been a great friend and contributor to the POA site. It's important that we all keep in touch as best we can as we care very much about you and want to help in any way we can. Ironically, just heard of a fellow local purple Prowler owner who does not "Internet" or visit this site, also has been battling the exact same condition. Just as you, a very nice guy ... Hope you both pull through to prowl a good long time yet. |

I'm fairly new here and have never met you although I've read many of your posts. I've gone through much the same situation although not as bad. That was 46 years ago when I was in my teens and technology wasn't what it is today, but here I am. The odds of beating this are much better today. All I can say is stay strong and fight the fight.....you'll be in my prayers. God bless. |

Mickey, I am proud that we have been friends for so many years, and am still stunned from when I first heard the bad news. I hate that it has gotten worse, but I was worried when I didn't see you posting anymore. Jason, Kim, Christian and Destiny along with myself will continue to pray for you and as I said last time we chatted, we are right down the road from you if you need anything. |

Mickey, I'm glad you finally decided to tell your friends on this site. I salute your courage as it's not an easy decision to share such intimate, personal information. But it helps to know that you've touched people's lives and that they care. And some extra prayers can go a long way. We've missed you at the last couple of events but look forward to your return. I appreciate all of your helpful advice regarding my prowler as well as your contact list and advice in setting up local events. I salute your courage and look forward to prowlin' with you again.
