Trey, you have been an inspiration throughout this whole project after I followed your build lurking on Facebook and this forum. You just didn't know it until now.
You set the bar for me and I intend on surpassing that bar within the next 3 years.
Huge thanks to you.
P.S. This is the guy that won your prowler calendar contest years ago. You sent the calendar to my condo on Florida. Doubt you remember me.

I'm really hoping so THC. Picking the paint was a daunting task. Had no idea how many different shades of white there are in the world.

I have a pearl white metallic lexus. When it's clean, it is mind blowing. When it's dirty, it just looks white. I'm sure you will keep yours clean CC

Does your Lexus happen to be the RX or IS line?

My custom brake lights finally made it in.

I was looking for a "tron" like look to the vehicle with certain lighting enhancements. This is the first step towards that goal.

It is amazing how bright led's are, I installed some in back of my Prowler also. Looking forward to seeing them on your Prowler. Also the white Pearl paint should look awesome.

Where will these lights be mounted? Will they be inside the existing taillight or fixed on the outside of them?

Keep in mind I'm going Hiboy, which means no tailights. I will be using the existing wiring out back but the tailights are gone. I also filled in the "holes" Gary had for a taillight area. I did the same in this crappy photoshop u see below.

They will be mounted as such:

pardon my loose paint job in red here

To a certain degree, yes sir.
For the application I'll be using them for, they will bend enough

I was wondering if you could make a snake eye out of one or follow the contour of a prowler taillight. Or would you have to use a couple of lengths. can you join lengths together?

If you're working so fast, why is this build taking so long?

Haha, yes that video was taken before I sent her to the body shop.
The body shop is the culprit on dragging time.

I'm curious.

How hard are they on the eye's of the person behind you. Are they blinding and do they burn the persons eyes where an image is still present after you pull off?

I for one do not care for these types of lights on cars.I have had to start wearing " excuse the pun " I wear my sunglasses at night.

Some people get carried away with these things. The other night, some dick head red neck here in Houston, TX had an LED light bar on top of the cab of his truck. Yep, you guessed it light bar full blast, head lights on high, and fog lights. I nearly wrapped a telephone pole. I was so pissed off, I nearly turn my car around to chase his ass down beat the hell out of him.

Brother love what your doing to your vehicle, but man oh man, please respect the party following you.

Jay If you had Leslie sitting on the rear trunk lid he'd really take out a few phone poles.

They are bright indeed. But, not as bright as my version 2 that came in the mail.

I am sending version 2 back. They're too bright. See comparison here www.youtube.com/watch?v=0WDddTBI5Fg

I agree with you. Version 2 would be blinding. Literally.
