![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() If anyone produces these count me in on one. It would have to work with headrest covers. This message has been edited by BeWare on 05-18-2006 at 10:09 AM |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Steve, do you mean the part that attaches to the headrest or the part that is stretched between the seats? (upper and lower edge)? With the velcro, if you stretch it tight, it looks pretty good. Mine is starting to fade a little and was not installed perfectly for that picture. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Here is the netting that was provided for the SLKs. It is a very tight weave and works really good. The only problem was seeing through it at night. It secured to the stationary rollbars.
We eventually replaced it with a plexiglass windscreen. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I have already started looking into making and testing a couple of these windscreens. I have located the netting, edging and color matched velcro. I looks like they can be made in black, red, yellow and blue. I am a little concerned that they can fade over time but I think I'll try it anyway. Sewing it up will not be a problem once the net shows up. After that I'll do some testing. Maybe by Louisville I'll have additional info. If anything happens prior to that, I'll post it here. ------------------ |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() quote: What I mean is that the rod would be sewn into the the outer solid band all the way around the mesh. Basically it would work as a flexible frame around the wind screen. Should help keep the mesh tight. |
