I think we are going to play with fonts and maybe try movi9ng the avatar up above the POA screen name and remove the text "POA name" and see how that looks. I (crudely) tried Damon's idea to turn it horizontal but with the Prowleronline logo and avatar it gets pretty tight. I will play with that some more. |

I can see one good point to having a specific badge for each event though. It would help identify those who have paid the registration fee for an event, as well as those who have not. I can see specific badges helping make things easier when it comes time for the dinners and other things that are included with the fee. ------------------ 2002 Prowler - Yellow/Black HiBoy Conversion |

Marty, I think the 3 x 5 id tags may be a little much. Something simpler and easier to read without our glasses on may be in order. Also they won't get misplaced as easy. Try this.

Oooops - yes, sorry back to the real subject!! Lanyards, great idea to have them specific to the events!! We couldn't find "Texas Flag" lanyards for the Texas event, so I just went with red, white and blue ones for our name tags, but loved the lanyards from the TN event!! T |

The "CITY" of Wisconsin Dells made the name tags up for that event, based on the list we gave them. |

Gene - that's exactly what I had in mind when we talked last night. Let's see what everybody else thinks. If we go with one of these I think - for the sake of production - the image should be the avatar and because it will be a much easier process to pick up the picture from the avatar instead of having to download what people send you and because people recognize the avatar and associated it with the person posting. We can give everyone a deadline to update their avatar if they wish. |

the only problem with using the avatar is its size... might be too small for this card.... yours is larger than most, and mine is saved to my computer, but most if imported directly from their messages come out too small for this card.... for example.......... |

Kala, I like the Viper badges too. These are annual badges sent out with your membership. Nice collector pieces too. |

I think the credit card size is great to keep in your wallet all the time but the larger 3" x 5" size works way better in my opinion for the actual events because the text can be larger and easier to read. Another idea is to keep the badges generic and have "small event sticker" - like stamps for each event that can be attached to the back. |

I like what you did with the larger size, partial maybe who knows, the older you get the harder it is to "SEE" what your reading. As for Tom and I (Pam) the larger is better. Thanks for the promo. |

Whatever works is fine with me. After the first few hours hopefully you will get to know most everyone. My problem is that everyone knows me because guys keep posting my "cheesecake" and "glam" shots on the board and they recognize me, even when I am in drag. I am not all that great with names so I am at a disadvantage if I can't read the name tag. If everyone had the 2 foot by 3 foot one like I had at Churchill Downs, I could read them. I don't want to wear glasses and ruin my good looks. lol |

Damon - that looks really good!! Marty, that's a great idea with the stickers for the specific events, kind of like the windshield stickers or dash plaques. T |

Marty, if we do these tags. If you don't mind I might prefer to submit a picture of our Kat use rather than my avatar. Can't make up my mind. This message has been edited by BeWare on 03-01-2006 at 09:22 AM |
