Condor and I have invited all European Prowler Owners to this first meeting. The event was named "Prowler Special Europe" and hosted during the "Grand National" an event that take place on the Formula 1 race track in Hockenheim where Hot Rods, muscle cars and air cooled Volkswagen meet together. From the 50 european prowlers listed, 9 have made their way to hockenheim. As promised by Condor the sun was shining, our cars where on display near the entrance During the evening diner what had the chance to talk about future plans, Participants where : Olivier (OllieKat) purple Switzerland Volker purple Germany was also with us, but unfortunately he had to sell his car Our next european event is scheduled the 3-4-5 june 2006 You can find below a few pics and all the pictures here This message has been edited by OllieKat on 09-05-2005 at 11:40 AM |

Olivier, great turnout. Are any of those cats still stock? lol Why are you headed clockwise in one pic and counter-clockwise in the other? Pretty many fans in the stands. |

Great pictures Ollie - thanks for sharing ! Been to Hockenheim quite a few times and it is on of the most spectacular race tracks in the world ! BTW, was AUSTRIAN PROWLER there too ?? Haven't seen him around for a looooong time ! GERY, WHERE ARE YOU ?? |

OllieKat, Cool pics of the Prowlers going down the track. You can see more of this on my two DVD's I have out. You can see plenty of 1/4 mile times and many more angles.

Oh yes, we had lot of fun. At the track, we raced the Prowlers not to the limmit, but close to. Olivier organised the Prowler Special, Matthias (Condor) did the orga with the Goodguys Member Germany at the show. Hi ED, your question reflects your sharp mind, in fact the tracks for F1 are very different than the oval used for nascar in the states. Ollie, thanks for the explanation. I did not realize it was a road type course. I'll bet you guys had a blast. It must have been fun to have so many from so many diff. countries and getting to see each others car for the first time. Good job to everyone organizing it and thanks for posting the pics. |
