The owner is a very nice woman named "Angie"

Here's some of what she wrote to me. I gave her the web
site lick so she can see how bad the Prowler community
feels about what happened.

Angie wrote;
"You must totally understand my love for my little car. It is my baby!
This happened August 31st, 2004 and I haven't moved it and I am just now dealing with it! It is sitting in the same spot and I have a cover over it so when I pull up, it just looks normal!
This is the most dramatic thing that has ever happened to me. I have had it since late 1999. Never left it outside until that night. I was cleaning the garage and had a mess everywhere. The alarm went off when the window broke at 4 am. I ran outside in a tizzy, grabbed the water hose and actually had the fire out before the fire dept got here! I'm lucky it didn't blow up."

It's seeing things like this that makes my lack of abundant wealth agonizing. Would that I could have a bunch of boxes filled with interior parts and a new wiring harness sitting by your Prowler when you arrive home Angie. I am very sorry that a fool was capable of such a thing! Jeff

Sad to see a Prowler in that kind of condition. They should fry the guy that did this.

Here is the link for anyone that wants to watch the auction.

If you travel with your prowler it will sit out every night, it's just a shame how some people were raised with a lack of respect for other peoples property.

the car is setting a couple of miles from my house....I have visited it a several times.....there is nothing except nuts and bolts.....the interior is even destroyed.....they wanter $12,500.....now they are down to $7,500......I personally doubt there is $1,000 worth of parts on it if the engine is good.....it is beyond belief...

I hope she knows what she bought when she bought the wrecked Yellow:

Her reply:

Everything in the yellow Prowler on the inside works beautifully. We sent a guy to get it. I decided not to start the project simply because I'm a female and everyone wanted to bust me on labor.
