The hardest thing is to look at what you have with a fresh eye. Mods help keep the car fresh, and I kinda envy the majority who keep the Prowler for sunny day rides. That makes the car a wild toy to take out and blow minds.

For me, it's daily transportation that blows people's minds on the road, but sometimes I forget just what I'm driving and wonder what everybody is looking at. LOL.

I still cannot think of another car that would fill the void left by no Prowler.

More or less the same reasons, which is why mine's up fpr sale.
(Someone's looking at her tomorrow)
Turned 60 4 months ago and for some reason driving a mild custom Kat (or any Kat) seems a bit odd.
Still have my street rod truck though

I have had over 100 cars mostly muscle. I guess I was looking for somthing special. Somthing about the Prowler that makes me enjoy it more than any car I have had in the past. Most of my cars last 6 months to 2 years and at this time the only way I would get rid of this car would be to replace it with a different Prowler. My Prowler is a 97 and that creates a delema as I would love to make changes but because it is a first year I dont want to do anything that I cant return back to 100% origional. If it was a 99 the hood deck and tops of the doors would be refinished in a light lavender metallic and I think that would really set it off. Back to the origional point, I dont see me selling this car for a long time.

I seem to get more attached to my cars especially as of late since I acquired the Viper and the Prowler.Every time I open the garage door,it's like day 1.
I never got this way with the 911 or the Jag...seems like ancient history now!

Still love the '97 Prowler. My kids (3) were in this weekend and the subject came up about who will inherit the car when I pass on. I smiled and said I was taking it with me until my oldest son reminded me that I am to be cremated. We all had a laugh on that one. Those tires will be smokin along time.

Tired of my Prowler? Not in the least bit! There isn't another car out there with so much style and class. This car definitely has to be one of the most unique rides out there.

First year 97...underpowered...yeah so what! Still moves along very well at a curb weight of just over 2,800 lbs. I also don't plan on making any mods that cannot be easily removed if God forbid I ever have to sell.

That would be a nightmare!!!

P.S.
Who am I kidding...if I sold
it...I'd have to leave the POA!

Don't drive it as much as before, but that has a lot to do with the crummy weather in Cincinnati. I got a new SSR and it is my daily driver. Having fun with it for now and that seems to make the Prowler more special. I have the purple hardtop on the silver and that makes for a totally different car than without the top. Need a bigger driveway to get the Prowler out more often.
