I'd be happy with good Qualty Rims because the ones that came with the Prowler REALLY suck.

Well now that you have asked , There are a few things that could have been included: Mirrors that tilt down when the car is in reverse to aid in backing, power seats,anti-lock brakes,cd holder vs.cass.,also garage door opener pod like in LHS,300,NEON,dual cup holder .
Or how about functional driving lights ,more power, just a few things one would expect for a modern street rod. I still love the car regardless but would have been nice.

Moltrox, we're being very Nitpicky and even half-joking about some of the items. They are SOOOOooooooooo minor in comparison to the car it's not even funny. If you asked us if we'd ever part with our Prowler's, I think you'd hear a very loud NO !!!!

Buy your prowler, you won't be disappointed, and the smiles will last forever.

I don't think they have made the perfect car, yet. I am happy with the Prowler. (If only they had made that dark metallic green, hmmmm).lol
I bought mine without every sitting in one, much less driving one. The POA did not exist to help me out or scare me off. It has literally changed our lives and we have made MANY new friends. It costs a lot of money to go to all these events but I figure Sandy can always work more overtime so I am not concerned. lol

The Prowler is a nice cruiser. It has to much lack of Top end power, so a V8 would be a lot better. ( even my 70hp diesel audi is faster..). More driving confort would be nice.
The base (basis?)of the prowler is for a factory car super, and everything else that we dont like ,we can change. ( .. it´s only a thing of money...)

Moltrax,
When you are driving the Prowler you are having so much fun you forget about the small problems in life or your Prowler's short comings!

Just one Ed agreeing with another, We went after a Prowler without ever having sat in one or driving one. There was no dispute. Rpowell593 said it best "and the smiles will last forever." There is no perfect car, let's face it. The Prowler's pluses FAR exceed it's negatives. What I sought to accomplish with this thread is to recognize the little grievances. Sure it needs more power, but then again, at what point would it have TOO MUCH. Probably never if you're a true "gearhead". I'm interested in the small things that we would change (if we could). Gage lens angle, seat adjusters, RV mirror size, etc. What about those STUPID sun visors? Where to put them, all the way up, or wrap them down & forward? Carol says she would like a second cup holder........ Mind you, if all of the small changes we list were to be corrected, we couldn't enjoy the car any more than we do now,........and that's a testimony to Plymouth accomplishing what they set out to do.....JMO

Moltrax---Your going to need a Winter car! No trunk! Only can take one friend with you! Better not take it out Partying(your 20) someone will damage it. Doors don't open up wide enough, Needs a 425HP Hemi, it's only got a 10 gallon tank you'll be in gas station daily, Mods are expensive, once you start your hooked. Should I go on, I have all day! Now the good things! Your 20 and the girls will love it! Guess that takes care of that!

Where to put them is soooooooooo easy!
Day ONE of ownership, I put them on the shelve right next to the screwdriver I used to take them off!

Lots of good stuff mentioned, and that's what keeps some of us going... making changes! As it should be.

Some I don't understand though....
Power seats? Why? Once you have it adjusted, how often do you really change it anyway? No biggie ....

And you're right... thanks, but you can't have mine either!
Put me in the 'aint gonna give it up' category.
Enjoy the ride, enjoy the smiles and DRIVE IT LIKE YA STOLE IT !

I wish the passenger seat had a height adjustment. My wife is very short and can't see over the door. I am thinking about swaping the two seats since I use my seat all the way down anyways. Has anyone done this? The only problem I see is that with one seat all the way up and one all the way down, the head restraints will look odd.

I love my cats just the way they are..........and I wouldn't change a thing. I'm only 5', so I don't have an issue with the door opening......seat adjustments....don't notice any issues with the gages..........haven't had any peeling on my wheels......trunk?.......that's why I have trailers...don't smoke......don't smoke, don't need ashtrays......etc. etc. etc..........

Nope.......wouldn't change a thing.

Good idea in theory but everything will be on the wrong side if you just swap the seats. Its not just a matter of unbolting and moving the seats. Some modifications will be required. Tom Mills raised the passenger seat in his Cat. It requires making some new brackets so that seat back and forth still functions properly.

I like that! Same situation here--bought it sight unseen--never sat in one/drove one b4 purchasing! Best buy ever!!

Also agree w/CJ...nothing really jumps out at me that I'd change, or want to change if I could. Well-pleased as is!

We used to unbolt the seat and put spacers under the bolts to raise the seats.

Same here, bought mine sight unseen, never drove in one, never sat in one, and had to wait 10 days for it to be delivered from Colorado. Best car buying decision I've ever made in my life. NO REGRETS !!! (Only thing is I planned to rag on it for 5 years and then dump it - but now after driving it, I baby it and will never part with it)
