I also ordered mine from ebay for $100 plus $10 shipping. They are Mopar mats and are originals. I can only guess someone stocked up on them before they ended production. I got mine from Moparpart. He will usually list them with a "Buy it now". I'm glad I waited. Some of them on auction went for $150.

P.S. I just checked my PayPal account and the payee was Lakeland Chrysler Dodge in Lakeland, Florida. So what's the deal. Did they just stock up or what?

That's where I got mine as well last week. Still on the carboard hanger and in the original plastic.

Check out the manufacturing date, the new purple set I bought said they were made in 12/2004. The markings on the back of the mats confirm the date. Someone is making them again...

NO, they aren't making them again except in the Silver.........it was a separate situation and that's all I can say.

Well it does have 12/04 on the tag but is that really a date?

The mats I just purchased have 12/04 printed on the MOPAR parts decal on the front of the package. I have four other sets of MOPAR mats that were manufactured between 07/97 and 08/01 so I compared them yesterday. They all have matching MOPAR and stamped-on part numbers. The bottoms of the mats have a date code manufactured into the rubber indicating the date they were produced. The most recent mats I have match the 12/04 date code on the label.

I know that CJ has more information on this than I'll ever have, I'm just confused...

I bought my Prowler from this dealership and they told me they bought up everything they could find and that was back in July of 2002. Apparently they had so much that they gave me a free Mopar Prowler car cover when I bought the car.

I bought a red set on ebay also, that are dated 12/04. However, Just because they say Mopar don't make it so. My guess is China.

I asked in the parts dept. where I work, (Westport Dodge) if any Prowler floor mats were currently available, John checked for me and said his computer showed NONE anywhere. Also his computer showed 72.00 as suggested retail, it also listed about 5 colors. The packaging on the sets on ebay are identical to the factory mats we get from DC, so I would love to know where they are coming from. CJ says DC is still making them but only in one color combination, why cant John find them? Anyone have any ideas. If they are offered through DC's parts system my cost would be about 40.00 a set and I would be glad to pass this on to anyone that needed them. I just need to figure out how.
