The Dates: July 18th thru the 22nd The Place: Wisconsin Dells The Hotel: The Wintergreen Resort For those not following the events post's for the last month this will be a fun filled week for everyone. The area is a resort town that caters to families so it has something for everyone. We have checked out the hotels and have chosen the Wintergreen Resort, they offered us the best service and value for peak season. They only have a total of 111 rooms so I urge you to book now! They will charge you for 1 nights stay when you make your reservations and if you cancel 3 days prior they only keep $10 and credit you the rest back. Bottom line is if you think you can make it book it NOW! please go to this link for hotel and area info. http://www.prowleronline.com/ubb/Forum3/HTML/001047.html I just booked our room and it went just the way they told me it would. $87.69 deposit.

I just booked. The woman could not have been nicer. She was tickled to find out it is the Prowler car. She was familiar with it. She said they just started taking reservations this morning and have had several book alreay, which is unusual. Book NOW, you don't want to miss this one. |

It should be fairly cool as this is a typical scene in Wisc. in mid to late July. This message has been edited by ed monahan on 10-13-2004 at 10:46 PM |

Its pretty cool the hotel staff are excited about having us, and I am glad the reservations are happening with out any problems. Keep booking those rooms as want them to hold as many as possible open for us for people who are late in registering. ------------------ |

3 days of booking and 8 rooms already!!! with 10 months till the event at this pace doing the math we could have 800! Would that be cool, but seriously if you think you are going please start booking, they are holding 60 rooms but as we fill rooms they will expand our block so by you booking early it helps hold rooms for late comers and new members that want to get in on the fun. ------------------ |

While doing the Lighthouse tour this week-end, several others said that they are fairly sure they are going to attend. To re-iterate what Bob said, Book early and Book often. This will be BIG, quite possibly the biggest event ever held for Prowlers. See you there. |

Make that 12 reservations. Spoke to Richarda who was very pleasant. Bob just for info purposes I was told that if a cancellation occurs up to 3 days prior to reservation the cancellation fee is $ 10 with the balance of the first night's deposit refunded. Looking forward to another POA event. ------------------ |

I am sure the $10 just covers what the credit card company charges, 5% to charge it and 5% to refund. They get people accepting CC coming and going. I will change the above post. |
