Holy Smokes! I just did a search and found this thread. My "5-Star" dealership wants $135 to rekey my trailer to match my car. I realize Key Man was performing a service amongst friends, but I gotta think I am getting a little shafted here. Any others have an idea what this should run? |

I would say they are overcharging you about $ 110. |

Update: General Manager of the dealership stands by his Service Department quote of $135. We will be looking for a different dealership for our Prowler, Grand Caravan and PT Cruiser. Wish I was coming to the Dells CJ for a lot of reasons. Unfortunately I am leaving for Japan Friday on business. Have a great time! Maybe Norb will have the TGF Grills done when I get back? |

Bob, Thanks for the offer. I guess I did not really mention that I paid the $135 since the Kat and trailer were already at the dealership. I even showed the GM this thread and he would not come down off the price. I am the schmuck here and they did not seem too worried about losing my business. Guess they have enough work that losing one will not matter.
