Grrowl, Reviewed my notes on the aforementioned convertible top replacement. Specifically, the top was showing wear damage due to a failure of the mechanical frame assembly. top was replaced under the collateral damage provisions of the warranty. I appologize for the misinformation and appreciate you catching the error.
