Just got back home Danny is there any word it's like 3.30pm here on friday afternoon so it's to late to call the hospital PK |

I just got off the phone with Danny. He's been trying to reach anyone at the hospital that can give him some info on Joe. So far, he's not had any luck. Apparently, as he understands it, they considered doing both surgeries at the same time. Danny's not sure that they went through with that, but Joe had told him his surgery was to begin at 12 Noon and at 7:00 p.m. they still hadn't heard anything. He is going to try to get over to the hospital tomorrow and see what he can find out and he will let us know on the board. Everyone keep saying the prayers for Joe. A\C..........considering the type of surgery(ies) Joe had, I am assuming he will be in I/C for a while. Not likely that Danny will get to see him, but he's hoping to run into some relatives who can tell him what's going on. I also told him to make sure that he relays to anyone who can see Joe that we at POA are all thinking of him and pulling for him. |

Thanks for all your prayers. Danny and I went to hospital this morning and got to see Joe, he was in intensive care and will be moved to room later today. He came thru the surgery just fine. They did the surgery on his head only. We did not find out why the surgery was so long. Joe was very tired but seemed in good spirts. He will be moved back to Denton Regional Hospital when he is strong enough and from there home. He said he is ready to go Prowling again. We will update later. Did not see any family members at the hospital. If we can reach his daughter we will update at that time. Thanks again, Danny and Kim |
