I got a call about one of our fellow members in Texas. Joe Powell (jpo350) he told us awhile ago he had to go in for a cancer operation (lung) and would be down for awhile. Well he also found out he's got a brain tumor. I called him in the hospital yesterday to see how he was doing. He told me they feel very comfortable with being able to remove the tumor as it's up in the top area of his brain and in a good spot. His spirits we're very positive although he has to lay in the right position because he still has to deal with the lung cancer issue yet. He said they would work on that part after the brain operation barring no complication. He goes in for the operation tomorrow I missed the time he said though. The number at the hospital is 214-345-6789 room 809 at this time. I hope he doesn't mind me posting this but I felt others would like to know and also say a prayer for him to come through these operations ok.. PK |

I just spoke with Danny and told him to post when he finds out anything. Joe goes in @12 noon and it will be about a 4hr operation then he will be moved to intensive care.
