Hey Grrrowl, do you have the source for the airbag
decal cover? Best solution I've seen yet. Looks good!

Excuse the form of the following, it was actually a reply to a private Email:

Actually, they're so inexpensive they're not worth making
yourself - take a look at discussion at:
http://www.prowleronline.com/ubb/Forum1/HTML/006801.html

You can order them from:

www.Streamlinedesign.com

Worthwhile surfing the whole site (pinstriping, bullet
holes, etc.) but here's the direct link to the Prowler
section:
http://www.streamlinedesign.com/prowler/

Then click on "Interior" or "Vinyl Logos" (this is the
section where I found the decals for the mudflaps listed as item #1.5..

Good luck. Welcome to POA. Post often.

I hope a reply to the airbag decal is appropriate under this section.

I actually removed my airbag warning decals from the visors.

It took some time and care, but they will peel off. I didn't use any solution at all. I just CAREFULLY picked at one corner to get it started and GENTLY and SLOWLY peeled off in small pieces. I'd pull a little area (about the size of a quarter) at a time making sure the vinyl didn't become too pliable.

Visors look so much better now.

Hey Randy,

I originally posted it, and it's fine with me.

Ed,

Does he do the "Prowler" cutout like the DekProTek? What I'm thinking is matte black with the cutout in the area between the hardtop and softtop contact areas. It would be visible with the softtop up or down, wouldn't be visible with the hardtop.

What do you think?

Thanks.

Grrowl, I did not have the cutout put on mine but I am sure that they can do that.

Chromer, you lost me on this one. Did someone slam the hardtop? The hardtop has a different configuration than the ragtop and both tops will make marks in the paint. It is not due to a defect in either top. The tops move a little and thus the scratches in the paint. The original Deck-Pro and others do not extend far enough onto the trunk surface to protect the trunk lid with a hardtop, simply due to size.

CT:
Notice a trend? It seems that everyone has their individual preferences EXCEPT that almost everyone has flaps and ceramic pads on or at the top of their list.

This thread has been dormant for too long and needs to be reborn now that it's Spring. Lots of great ideas here.
