Full Boost - Congrats on your purchase. I, like you, replaced a Corvette with a Prowler. Glad I made that decision and have never regretted it. on the orange,,,,,if I buy another cat it probably will also be a orange.

Make sure you search for the MadMax Hot Glue Treatment System to make those center caps real tough.

WELCOME TO THE POA

Congrats and welcome!

This is THE source for all things Prowler.

Take a moment, if you'd care to, to send a contribution to help keep POA the great asset it is for all of us.

CONGRATS ON THE ORANGE!
See, you did get YOUR car, in YOUR color, at YOUR deal.
Kat ownership is exciting, ain't it!

Like Ed,Spyder and others advised - get flaps and ceramic pads a-s-a-p. Also as a couple of previous posts suggested, do the Hot Glue Center Cap Treatment. Will someone who is not techno challenged like me, please post the link for the treatment for Boost?

CONGRATS!

The orange looks really cool.

You MUST do the AC approved hot glue reinforcement trick on the center caps.

Thank you all very much for the kind words. My dad dropped of the new Prowler at my local dealer this morning. Hopefully it will not be too long before I will have it back in the garage. I am sort of worried about the tires being in such short supply. I don’t want it to sit down at the dealer for an extended period of time although they promised it would be inside the entire time. For all you fellow Hoosiers, I am located in a little town in Southwest Indiana called Boonville. If you are ever in my area, please let me know. I have much to learn about the Prowler and I’m very excited about becoming an owner. Thanks to you all for your help and good advice during my Prowler search and I hope to see you soon.

Ed,

I have had that car for five years now. My dad and I bought it in a basket case in Kansas City, but the car was complete and number’s matching throughout. We completely restored the car from the ground up in four months, which is phenomenal for a complete restoration. It has only really been taken to one big show, Monster Mopar Weekend in St. Louis a few years back and it won 1st. place. I don’t show it very much. I just like to drive it occasionally. It has 16,000 original miles and as I said before, it is a complete number’s matching car. Here are the vitals:

1970 Plymouth ‘Cuda
Exterior: Rally Red with Black Vinyl Top
440 Hockeystick Sidestripes
Go-Wing
Shaker Hood With Argent Shaker Scoop
Rocker Panel Gills
15X7 Rallye Wheels
Interior: Black Vinyl – Bucket Seats, Rally Dash, AM Radio with 1 Speaker
Engine: 440 Six Barrel “Six Pack”
Transmission: Chrysler A833 Hemi Manual Shift Four Speed With Hurst Pistol Grip Shifter
Rear Axle: Dana 60 with Track Pack: 3.54:1 Gears and Limited Slip Differential
No A/C
No Power Steering
No Disc Brakes
No Power Brakes

This car was ordered new for street racing and it still pulls like a freight train 34 years later.

Boost Me, you will need to show a picture of that car. Nothing less will be acceptable. lol. Sounds like a winner. You need to hook up with everyone at the Woodward Cruise and see Harold Sullivan's collection in Detroit. I will try to find a link and post it on here.

here is one picture from inside Harold's museum. Most of his cars are 1 of 3 made or 1 of 4 made, etc. http://www.prowleronline.com/scrapbook/quickview.php?qv2=680&qv1=eventpics&dfn=00000020&id=00000020/P0003251.jpg
