It has been a bunch of work but it's always nice to see a project come together. It'll give us the utility space and look pretty cool too! Sell it? Not this one! I have another cooler "shell" that would make a good donor so I may build another one with the intent to sell it.

Thanks for all the kind words and I look forward to sharing the finished product!

Pepsi... Just bring the JD...

Looks good Bill! Hand lettering looks great too, nice steady hand. Your wife doesn't read these posts, does she? Don't think she might like being called a turkey this close to Thanksgiving

The red part of the chassis reminds me of Ed's luggage rack/BBQ Grill...

Still can't wait to see it all together.

Bill,

Sorry to burst your bubble... Christmas isn't for another 30 days... In your title for this post you statted that this was going to be a Christmas present... That means that there is absolutly no way you can use it this weekend... Santa will be mad... Right Ed?

Wild Bill, maybe he is related to WildCat, who says bah humbug so he can do whatever he wants. He needs to give it a road worthy test to make sure he is not disappointed on Christmas. lol.

Rodzilla, I too am into Coke collectables. I built almost the same trailer 5 years ago and still have it. I too set it low to the ground and used polished checker plate on the front and back of the trailer bed. Your project looks great, keep up the good work and I look forward to meeting you at Daytona.
