I suggest looking into Motorcycle trailers. There are many styles available. For example... here is one:

If you look at motorcycle trailers, be sure to note the trailer capacity. The ones I found and researched would only hold something like less than 200 pounds - which is still quite a bit, but substantially less than the Prowler trailer.

Personally, I still prefer the street rod trailers as a better alternative. JMO - of course everyone has to decide for themselves. I know some people think it is nuts to pay over $4k for a trunk on wheels!!

Happy prowling

Thanks for the info Marty. One of guitar amps is 75lbs! I hate lugging that thing around. lol That gets me well on the way to half the 200lb limit of the smaller trailers. I'm still not sure what I'll do. Probably look for Uhaul Sport to rent at first.

Are we getting BS'd by U-Haul???

Just watched Car and Driver TV - Cannonball 1 Lap of America series, and seen a Lambo pulling the very same U-Haul trailer, but with NO U-Haul decals If U-Haul donated the trailer for tv cruise/race event, we know they would want their decals to show on it for tv advertisement. I don't think an individual would rent their trailer and remove the decals from it, might be hard to explain on returning it to them. I've emailed C & D tv department for a research on this subject. We'll see if I get any feedback.
