Fixumm, the kat was fine. It did get rained on 4 times between Indy and home
(I bet Mike V. has a smile on his face if he's reading this), but after Friday night the BT is no virgin to water. In fact I think it's sprouting fins. How's that for a mod?

Hey guy, thanks to you, Steve, and the ladies for kat-a-van-ing to Indy with me. It was a lot of fun, and one hell of a ride.

We should all get together again some time...

KimKat, what number is on the trunk of your car? or did it turn out to be one of the prototypes? I never did get an answer to that question.

I think you are suffering from a little known but highly contagious disease called "Modification Overwhelm". It strikes suddenly without any advance warning. At highest risk for contracting this disease are first time Prowler Eventers such as you and Mike and I. I think John was showing signs as well...

You know, I never got that disease. Just don't believe people that tell you our car was stock at Woodward last August except for the $9 chrome grill treatment and the removal of teh front bumpers.

Have fun with your new twotone KAT !! It was really a pleasure meeting you & Mike.

Ed,

When we went to the dealer, the previous owner was there to talk to us and to give us the information he had compiled on the car. As it turns out, it was the number one pilot by date and time comparison run on all of them. It does not have Dr. Ru's signature or a number, which he confirmed it should not if it were, indeed, the pilot. The previous owner gave us a picture of it on display at the Detroit Auto Show.

It seems we have what the dealership said we could expect. This dealership was pretty impressive, when Mike raised a flicker of a doubt in their claim that this was the #1 car, they changed their ad to reflect their willingness to wait it out until proof positive was given. As far as I'm concerned, it was.

Well, okay I'll let you slide by on this all too feeble excuse, but only because you're clearly telling me it's Darcy that's the smart one (didn't doubt that for a second) Wait a minute...Al Capone on an acid trip...that WAS Mike's sister!

HotRod,

Thanks for the emphasis on the "YOUR". It did not go unappreciated . Given what the Woodward is, I'd be inclined not to touch a hair on it's head. Problem is, I think modifying the car is half the fun of owning it--there are so many performance and appearance goodies out there. Perhaps I should give the Woodward to Mike "Dead Stock" Venezia and take the Orange one...NOT!

BTW, he's already in the process of buying a longer trailer (2 Kat sized).

AAHHHH!, I just couldn't resist making you all look bad ...LOL I have to say H/R I near passed out when I found out that this new Kat was caught in a short down pour last year, It near killed the sale..., This car is in pristine condition (except for the water spots under the car) and My research has shown this to be THEE first Pilot Woodward as in #1 of 153 I have documentaion, and photos of the car at the detroit car show, and I am still tring to find out if this is also the car that DR RU striped on stage at the SEMA show,

Yes Hot Rod I already ordered a 32' foot long new trailer.

Also you guys are addictive, also orderd Mopar exhaust for the orange kat and brake pads for both, and have flaps for orange as well,

ED

Becarefull...if sandy reads this you could be in trouble

It was not a bad trip to get the car..let me see, 485 miles to home from dealership, sleep 7 hours drive 485 miles back to dealership, load car drive 300 miles back to Carlisle< PA sleep a little drive 185 mile home unload car, take both Kats on a 2 hour cruse...now I am tired

Larry,

He forgets the power of a woman's ability to "accessorize"!

Thanks to all of you for your welcome and well wishes.

Oh and Fixumm, don't worry, I will never be in your league for number of posts (or misspelled words for that matter).

BTW, I'm signed on in Mike's name and forgot to change it to me...sorry.
