Following is a listing of people who have either posted or emailed us that they are either planning on being in Louisville or would like to attend but have not committed yet. NOTE: Some of these names are from posts a couple of months ago, so their situation may have changed. I certainly don't want people to think I am posting thier names to put pressure on them to attend. As soon as get a listing of confirmed reservations from the hotel later this month, I will post that. Rebelbob Hopefully after the CAAP tribute this coming weekend, some other people will start thinking about SPring, attending and cruising with a bunch of other CATS.!!!! Gary - hopefully some others from the south may attend. I know Rich Ware (Atlanta) posted he and Linda and some others from their area would decide later on. Bring the GOLD- I saw my first gold in the sunshine last week going down US 60 (opposite way) and it really sparkled in the bright sun. Marty ------------------ Driving my Dream |

Marty, I think we have a few more that are highly probable after getting a taste of the fun at CAAP this week-end. I will wait to see if they post and then give them a nudge later on if they don't speak up. I would think 4 or 5 more than have posted. ------------------ |

Ed - thanks for the message. Ever since I met some of you in Dayton last summer and you all convinced Rebecca & I to attend Woodward, we have been to as many events with POA folks as possible, and every time we have always enjoyed ourselves. For those of us that own Prowlers, the cars speak for themselves - my biggest surprise has been the great people we have met, friends we have made, and fun we have had aside from driving the car. We look forward to meeting a lot of people here in Louisville in May. I will need to get a good handle on attendance about 45 days out - early April and find out then who is interested in some of the options: FOR NOW: IS ANYONE INTERESTED IN SPONSORING ONE OF THE HORSE RACES ON THE DAY OF THE CAR SHOW? We can do as group of up to eight people allowed in the paddock prior to the race when they saddle the horses, plus eight people in Winner's circle at presentation of trophy to winning jockey, trainer, owner. Also, names listed in official program. Cost is $125.00 for race - less than $16.00 per person As of mid January there were still races available for that day. Should we get one as a group??? Thanks Marty ------------------ Driving my Dream This message has been edited by Marty Usher on 02-10-2002 at 10:50 AM |

The gold prowlers are beautiful, don't let the brochures fool you! there almost a metalflake appearance. It was the color that made me buy, plus somehow the thing knew my name, every time I drove past the dealership it was yelling for me. We are planing on driving up Friday, would love to meet up with other prowlers on the way. We will be driving up route 25 to Lexington then on to Louisville. Gary |

Rich - I saw your post on the events thread. Glad you and Linda can make it. I also see you have responded to Gary Archer. I believethey are comiong from Kingsport which is a couple of hours from Chattanooga. Laddie - Ed is correct, Bowling Green (Corvette Museum & plant are at exit 28 on I 65. Louisville's outerbelt Snyder Freeway is at mile marker 126. Louisville to New Orleans is about 11 hours of driving time plus whatever you stop for meals, gas, etc. Hope you deceide to make it. BTW - had to look twice at photos from CAAP. Congrats on all the weight loss. I think I gained that much since Woodward lat year!! Maybe that's why your are turning faster times. Marty

Hello Rich: Looks like you will be traveling up I 65 most of the way out of Nashville, our primary route will be I 75 to I 64. I 75 would probably be a little out of the way for you. Gary |

Gene - I had posted a list on page 1 of this thread of veryone who had mentioned they were considering attending at that time. I am to get confirmation list from hotel at end of week (or Monday) and will post upon receipt. It looks like it is starting to pick up.
