I bought a hardtop for my 2001 and I am dissappointed in the way it fits (there are gaps at each back corner where the top meets the trunk area). Is this normal or is there a fix for this problem?

Hey Nick that's pretty good advice and only here for a month. You have a hardtop on your Prowler? What color is it? C'mon introduce yourself.

I don't have a hardtop. A friend did and he had the same problem with the fit.

Silverkat - perhaps you could elaborate on the procedure for adjusting the rear hardtop pins so that the top fits tighter in the rear?

You more than likely have pins like the ones on the left in the photo. If you have a gap now, you'll want to run the bottom nut down more which will allow the top to drop in relation to the deck lid.

I've seen these longer pins for sale. Can someone let me know where I can buy them?!

Thanks,
Ron

You've already done it Dublin as well as ol Nick C so wouldn't that be redundant?

Don McCormack (NorthernCat) made a run of them but has since discontinued . I spoke with him about a month ago about a set but no luck. He is not making any ..

Somebody with the knowledge and Machines required could possibly produce some more. But the demand is low.

I looked into getting them done about a year or so ago. VERY costly, to say the least. Tom Mills was interested in getting some for the two piece hardtop project.
