Left the house today and my Prowler stayed in wouldn't upshift, the speedometer didn't work, and the engine waring light came on. I was able to determine it was in stuck in 2nd gear by going into manual shifting. Anyone suffered the same fate or have heard of same. HELP

The tranny has gone into "limp mode". Ususlly it's a input or output sensor. Do a search for LIMP MODE and you can read numerous posts about it and how to determine if it is input or output and other possible causes.

Good luck

Check out Dan Pena's site www.prowlerexcitement.com also. He has pics of the sensors.

If the speedo works it's the input sensor, if speedo doesn't work it's the output sensor.

I bought input & output sensors at Napa, have not had to use them yet, but carry them when traveling.
